Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate

This whole thing is so silly.

I am sitting in my home office. Within arms reach is a two drawer file cabinet. In the bottom drawer I have a file that contains legal copies of my birth certificate, SSN, and every other important personal document. They are documents I HAVE to produce on a regular basis. If I ever ran for public office I can produce it easily (even though I would have to publically admit that I was born in California). That they havent put this thing to bed and that democrats and the media continue to make a big deal of it (yes...democrats. Why do we keep talking about this? Because liberal media brings it up to then scoff at 'birthers'. and because a democrat governor once again brought it up) means a couple of possible things...he is as suggested Kenyan born and was issued a certificate of live birth by his mothers residential state, or he was born in Hawaii and they refuse to produce the birth certificate so that they can occasionally bring it up and divert attention from real world problems.

Anyone that isnt named Barrack Hussein Obama and pretends to 'know' what the truth is is quite simply full of **** and spewing an opinion based on what fits their political viewpoint.

Just today on Meet the Press. It always seems to be the liberals who won't leave it alone. Maybe they should counter with truther's everytime they do it and see if they are willing to condemn them.

Jan. 23: Cantor, roundtable - Meet the Press - Transcripts - msnbc.com
MR. GREGORY: There's been a lot of talk about discourse, about how you all can get along a little bit better and do it a little bit more civilly. And I wonder, this is the leadership moment here, OK? There are elements of this country who question the president's citizenship, who think that it--his birth certificate is inauthentic. Will you call that what it is, which is crazy talk?
REP. CANTOR: David, you know, I mean, a lot of that has been an, an issue sort of generated by not only the media, but others in the country. Most Americans really are beyond that, and they want us to focus...
MR. GREGORY: Right. Is somebody brings that up just engaging in crazy talk?
REP. CANTOR: Well, David, I, I don't think it's, it's nice to call anyone crazy, OK?

MR. GREGORY: All right. Is it a legitimate or an illegitimate issue?
REP. CANTOR: And--so I don't think it's an issue that we need to address at all. I think we need to focus on...
MR. GREGORY: All right. His citizenship should never be questioned, in your judgment. Is that what you're saying?
REP. CANTOR: It is, it is not an issue that even needs to be on the policy-making table right now whatsoever.
MR. GREGORY: Right. Because it's illegitimate? I mean, why won't you just call it what it is?
REP. CANTOR: I--because, again...
MR. GREGORY: I mean, I feel like there's a lot of Republican leaders who don't want to go as far as to criticize those folks.
REP. CANTOR: No. I think the president's a citizen of the United States.
MR. GREGORY: Period.
REP. CANTOR: So what--yes. Why, why is it that you want me to go and engage in name-calling?
MR. GREGORY: No, I'm just...
REP. CANTOR: I think he's a citizen of the United States.
MR. GREGORY: Because, because I think a lot of people, Leader, would say that a leader's job is to shut some of this down. You know as well as I do, there are some elements on the right who believe two things about this president: He actively is trying to undermine the American way and wants to deny individuals their freedom. Do you reject those beliefs?
REP. CANTOR: I...

Personally, I would like to see us talking about how Barack sr. was porking Ann when she was 17 y/o.

and he was already married to someone else and married Ann anyway.

Overall I like Gregory. But occasionally he does get obsessed trying to force a quote out of someone. A bit transparent and a little on the unprofessional side....

Isn't that illegal in this country? That would mean that Obama is actually a bastard.

No it wouldn't. Tasteless post...

Is anyone questioning he was an infant in Hawaii?

Nice attempt at twisting the issue, i.e., "so what if baby Obama was a child who happened to grow up in Hawaii. Anyone can place a birth announcement in the local papers." Pretty slick. Who whispered in your ear to post that one?

Why wouldn't there be birth announcements when the certificate of live birth was issued?

Hence, the reason this entire issue is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!

The man was born on August 4, 1961. His birth was registered with the Hawaii Department of Public Health on August 8, 1961, and according to the Honolulu Adviser, they ran a birth announcement which reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy., son, Aug. 4," on August 13, 1961 - 9 days after he was born. (See section, "FIRST MENTION" near bottom of article for details. Also, see FactCheck.org and theObamaFiles.org for images of Obama's COLB indicates his date of birth, date COLB was registered and date COLB was certified.)

So, I really don't see what point you were trying to make unless you were attempting to state the obvious. In which case, we agree.

technically, if Obama's was still married to his first wife when he married Obama's mother, then the second marriage is invalid and Obama would, by definition, be a bastard.

Something else to consider per the above information: Since the index data is public record, it shouldn't be difficult for an investigative reporter to review it and report back whether or not a there is a discrepancy in the data on file, i.e., was the date the index data was entered greater than the date the COLB was registered? Are the names of the twin girls who were born the day before the President listed near his name (should be indexed before his; see Honolulu Adviser article linked in post #157 for details)?

Two very simple things anyone should be able to assertain since the index data is available to the public for review per the Hawaii Dept of Health.

Index data consisting of name and sex of the registrant, and type of event is made available to the public. The director, in accordance with HRS §338-18(d), has not authorized any other data to be made available to the public.

Index data referred to in HRS §338-18 from vital records in the State of Hawaii is available for inspection at the Department of Health’s Office of Health Status Monitoring at 1250 Punchbowl Street in Honolulu. The public will be asked to provide identification and sign in to inspect the names and sex of all births, deaths and marriages that occurred in the state. Data are maintained in bound copies by type of event with names listed alphabetically by last name.

To request a search for index data, provide a first and last name of the individual, and the type of event along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Requests must be sent in writing to:

State Department of Health
Office of Health Status Monitoring
Issuance/Vital Statistics Section
P.O. Box 3378
Honolulu, HI 96801

There may be a cost for search, segregation and copying based on the request. If prepayment is required, the DOH will send a Notice to Requestor form with the amount required for prepayment. Only a money order, certified check, or cashier’s check (make money order and checks payable to the State Department of Health) will be accepted. Personal checks will not be accepted. All fees are non-refundable; if no data is found after a search is conducted, the fees are retained to cover the cost of the search. Requests for index data will be sent out within 2-3 weeks after receipt of payment.

I say those who really want to know that bad, submit your requests accordingly. It really can be that simple for ANYONE IN THE PUBLIC to verify whether or not his U.S. birth is genuine or not.

There's gonna be alotta people laughing at Abercrombie, if he can't lay his hands on Obama's BC.

So much for putting things to rest. Eh?

His BT was shone on TV many times, so what's the big deal? I'm really not surprised though, lotta Kooky political ideas out there, and even more kooks who buy it.

ricksfolly

Actually, he would be our first gay, bi-racial, bastard president.

Ann and Barack Sr. appear to be total trash, so it's no surprise that 'lil Obama is the way he is.

Wow.

To attack his dead mother.

Is this the part where honor is restored?

And you can try and accuse me of not having a sense of humor and you're just being "Over the top".

Yeah dude, you're really edgy and hilarious

And no I'm not offended.

trash is trash, living or dead. I find it funny how some people get offended by disrespecting the dead. If they didn't deserve respect in life, they don't deserve it in death.

not saying this is the case here, really haven't read up on B.O.'s parents so I wouldn't hazard a guess.

How was she trash?

Is that the same people who make baseless attacks on conservative politicians not knowing the contemporary meaning of 'blood libel'?

Also the same "deserters" who bought Dan Rather's lie about Bush's military record, hook, line and sinker. They are the same warmers that swear human-caused global warming is undeniable; and the same truthers that believe neocons planning 9/11 with the help of bin Laden.
