How can you ignore them if they show up at a loved one's funeral?

I not attempting to say they are slightly off. I am just saying that it they believe in a god with similar believes that themselves. AS you, american believe in a god with your particular beliefs. They interpret the bible they way they do, they pick and choose, just like any other christain sect.

Every sect believes they have it right, they can't all be right. No sect is right or wrong, and that includes Westboro. The church you go to american is no more right or wrong than Westboro on the evidence stakes.

I'm not condoning what they do, but there is ALOT of passages to support their viewpoint in the bible.

They're not a sect, they are a singular church, and for the most part, one family. Most people who really are Christian know that these people aren't. They are a cult that has hijacked the Bible. They are no different than radical Muslim groups that hijack the Koran for their own purposes. They aren't true believers in Christ because they condone, hell even promote, violence.
 
They are really thanking the devil, and Fred knows it.
 
Kinda makes you think twice about calling all Muslims terrorists because of a few radicals, doesn't it? Christians surely don't like being associated with this kook and his posse, but we sure are quick to do that with Muslims and suicide bombers. I know this has been an eye opening experience for me. I hope it has for some of my chrisitan brothers as well.

You don't win lawsuits by inciting riots, and that is how it will go down. They incited a riot, so they don't get a penny. They should consider themselves lucky they didn't end up in jail, charged with inciting a riot.
