Bristol Palin pays $172,000 in cash for AZ house

It was reported as a "foreclosed bank owned home", hence the low price. But I agree, who cares.

I'm sure they probably helped, but I assume she did get paid well for Dancing With the Stars and other speaking engagements she does.

Don't mean to derail this very informative thread but this reminds me of the story:
An old man was a witness in a burglary case. The defense lawyer asked Sam, “Did you see my client commit this burglary?”

“Yes,” said Sam, “I saw him plainly take the goods.”

The lawyer asks Sam again, “Sam, this happened at night. Are you sure you saw my client commit this crime?”

“Yes,” says Sam, “I saw him do it.”

Then the lawyer asks Sam, “Sam, listen, you are 80 years old and your eye sight is probably bad. Just how far can you see at night?”

Sam says, “I can see the moon, how far is that?”

You are correct as this a non-newsworthy article. If she had bought a 10 Million Dollar house that would have been a curious item. But this is just an average house. Why not list her grocery list too.

And now she just needs to get a job so she can pay the property tax and keep it. You can only ride the coat tails of a celebrity parent so long.

Former alcoholics can tell the kids how alcohol drove away their familes, lost them their homes and jobs, and caused them to look 20 yrs older than they are.

What hardships will Bristol tell them she has endured?

Having a child out of wedlock as a high school teenage has opened the door for her to such programs as Dancing With The Stars. At the conclusion of the show she was pandering what she wanted to do next in show biz. Being pregnant during the campaign was her lottery ticket. You don't see Piper Palin getting many job offers.

Now, what was the deterrent for the young kids?
 
It's not just about having a child out of wedlock. It's about having SEX before marriage. I've never heard one of her speeches, so I can't comment on what exactly her story is about that. People who have changed their lives and learned from their mistakes make EXCELLENT motivational speakers.

Read up on what? Bristol Palin bought a house. How is she going to pay the taxes and the up keep over 30 years or so? Or is it just a little flipping thing?
