Michael Moore Says Founders Would Have Been "Wikileakers"

Michael Moore wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes in 1776.

Not only did they not tolerate his ilk, there wouldn't have been a McDonalds within a million miles of him.

That we listen to this bucket of puke speaks volumes about the half the population.

Which half of the population is that?

Since there were no cameras in 1776, what would he do? Commission artists to paint his documentaries?

he would have been a pamphleteer.

that being said; Moore continues to demonstrate to us all how the Democrat party screwed up by embracing its' radicals.

I don't see how the "Democrat" party has embraced Moore. I think that's a misperception of the right, this idea that everyone on the left agrees with Moore. I've got lots of liberal friends, and I can't think of one instance where any of them even mention the man.

Although they did show us that film about Flint, Michigan in a class way back in high school. I can't remember the title. The only film of his I saw.

Yeah they would have. They much prefered a free press being the watchdog of the government. Else why would there be a "free press" clause in the very first amendment?
BINGO. That's exactly right.

you were out of the country in 2004?

give you a hint; a reallllly fat guy was seated in the Presidents box at the Democratic Party Convention right next to Jimmy Carter. and it wasn't Chris Christie.

He wasn't right next to Carter. There is what appears to be a woman squeezed in between them.

They showed his film about columbine to my son when he was in high school.

He sounds like Obama, Pelosi and Reid.
And they are... The leadership.

I really agree with that.. I think they wouldn't have classified as much information, been transparent, and tried to keep the public well educated on what the government was actually doing. They also wouldn't support a two party system or career politicians, and I believe they would support the leaks just to prove how neither party is really working for the people like many of the people think.

I had to watch it too, but they encouraged discussion and it was optional to watch... I watched it because I got extra credit for it..

There is a huge difference between a free press and wikileaks. Wikileaks is making public classified information. PFC Bradley Manning will rot in prison for his treasonous act. He should be executed by firing squad. Wikileaks is an anarchist organization that our founding fathers would absolutly not approve of.

Maybe you should have gone to an American history class instead of watching the fat man's film of lies.

I made no comment on what the founders would have thought of him... I really don't care about him enough to have an opinion, or follow his opinions.. other than seeing that one film.

Didn't say you did. You do seem to think Asange actions would have been acceptable in the 1700s, but I doubt the Founding Fathers would have given a second thought before sending Asange to the hangman's noose or the firing squad.

why would the patriots have had a problem with someone who would have exposed the pending stamp act

Was the stamp act imposed by the American government or the British government ???

See how silly your statement is ??

What about his trial.. examining the information he leaked? You really think the founders would be for hanging somebody for making public classified documents, detailing the corruption in our government? The government isn't going to expose itself..

Admittedly, I didn't go to his site before it was shut down.. but I read reports about things he leaked like Obama helping former Bush admin members get out of being indicted by Spain for creating a legal framework to making torture, not torture.. Who would have thunk Obama would be helping out the old admin? And then the Cheney issue in Africa and the charges he got out of..

And watergate was leaked too... gee, you really think Washington and Jefferson would have hung that guy if he exposed Great Britain's corruption?

You're entitled to your opinion.. but don't try to label me as ignorant about history because you don't like my opinion.

I certainly hope you are not ignorant about American History, but you are definitely ignorant about the content of the leaks. He did far more than leak the minor things you mention, which are not even noteworthy. He put American national security and American lives in jeopardy. He also put the lives of many innocent people and their families into danger.

He's a piece of slime and I have no doubt he will face an unfortunate end.
