Michael Moore Pays Bail for Juilan Assange

It says he "offered" to pay bail, I thought he was denied bail :S So he hasn't actually paid bail? Just offered to?

Assange has accusations thrown at him and is wanted for questioning in Sweden, he hasn't even been charged yet, let alone convicted, let alone convicted of rape. Lets round up all the lawyers of rapists who have actually been charged (and not just accused, and actually of rape) and call them supporters of kiddy fiddlers. Fantastic. God bless the USA.

Thanks, I've finally found a quote to put in my signature :peace
Funny, I don't SEE it on your sig line.

You know what's funny? I've sat on like 5 criminal juries. That's right, I've totally sat in judgment of others. It's awesome.

Then attorneys somewhere aren't doing their job. Proper use of the voir dire would remove you quickly. Based on your statements in this thread, you have absolutely no idea what "beyond reasonable doubt" entails. Hopefully the other jurors used their brains.

I usually end up foreman, y'know because of my experience. I do understand proof beyond a reasonable doubt. It's up to each juror how much evidence that requires for them. My threshold will be different than others and that's why we deliberate. See? I know lots.

It's up to the jury whether or not fingerprints on a casing that came from a murder weapon is proof beyond a reasonable doubt. For me, it likely would be.

this is easily the dumbest thing I read today and with some of the posts in "Is this an example of liberal media bias or not?" and "Media Bias Study: How networks have characterized debate on tax rates" threads thats saying A LOT!

a finger print on a bullet casing isnt anywhere NEAR beyond a reasonable doubt are you kidding? that is the largest most irresponsible lack of foresight and logic I have ever read. How could you be so negligence in your thought process?

I pray that you never actually sit on a jury, you are living proof that the screening process for juries needs to be increased.

Apparently what you haven't read is all this thread. I'm a bit of a professional juror so put that in your juice box and suck on it.

and that only drives home my point even further, you are living proof jury screening needs improved LMAO, try and keep up. With your definition of proof beyond a reasonable doubt its obvious logic isnt your strong suit so maybe Ill let you slide.

Also I hope you own a gun, you loaded it and it gets lost or stolen or you leave it some wher etc etc, a crime is committed with it, nothing serious maybe a breaking an entering, and they send you to jail cause your finger prints were own the bullets LMAO

because hey your prints on the bullets proves you did it right LOL
:screwy

Well, if I ever do go to jail, I should already know some of the people in there. LOL

Who says I "struggle" with anything. Relax EPV, you'd be lucky to have me on your jury.

And, with that comforting thought, I'm off. Gotta work in the morming, millions on welfare depend on me, y'know. LOL

FOX News - Home

I think this quote from Moore-on is hilarious. For him $20k doesn't even approach his food bill for the week and he talks about it as if he's funding a small nation. LOL
Do you think you could approach this with SLIGHTLY more maturity?

Y'know X Factor, from your posts, the thing I am struggling with is believing that you are old enough to be on a jury. I'm not yet, and I think I am heaps more mature than you.

Who says I "struggle" with anything.

lol Your statements say that.

You even went as far as to say "allegedly" usually means "guilty" as if that holds any relevance in unproven cases. Failure to understand usually means a struggle with comprehension.

... Did you actually read what the case is about? There's about as much evidence to say he raped anyone as there is to say he didn't. It's a he said, she said situation.

Except its she Said she said he said...... :prof

Sweden rarely ever uses juries, and they would not be used in such a case.

Are you talking about the Iraqis we financed and armed or the ones that wouldn't be killing anyone if we hadn't invaded?

Talking about the ones that caused the body count you use to attack the US.

Really. What was Saddam Hussein. Are you saying no Iraqis were killed during his reign?

Let me be clear - I wasn't in support of us invading Iraq.. I was however, in full support of taking out Saddam the first time we were there, and it's my opinion that we failed for leaving the bastard in power as long as we did.

I did wholly support the invasion of Afghanistan when the objective was to find Bin Laden.. but it seems THAT objective will never be met.. thanks to the stupid "war on terror"... a war that can NEVER be won.

In WW1 civilian casualties accounted for 10% of the total. WW2 took that number to 50%. Vietnam pushed the figure to 70%, and the casualty numbers for Iraq top out at 90% civilians. Even Saddam at his worst comes a distant second.

It's been a quiet many months for fat boy.

This gets him back on Larry King for the 109th time.

He isn't accused of rape. He is accused of "Sex by surprise" so pretty much sex without a condom. This is 100% true as well.
'Sex by Surprise' at Heart of Julian Assange Criminal Probe

So the UK basically had him in jail for something that is not even a crime in their country. What next are they going to jail a woman because she didn't wear a burka in Saudi Arabia? As much as I want the man dead even I can see that these rape or sex offender charges are bull ****.

Good thing for the victims you're not on his jury either.

Let's forget about a trial, and just take him out behind the courthouse and shoot him.
