Kinda puts you in the spirit of the season.
Nice post. IMO, too many has forgotten what Christmas is about.
Yup. A pagan festival in the winter that the Christian church didn't want people to support so they created a December celebration of their Savior's bith even though he was born in the summer.
Or did you mean the spirit of the season...? That probably makes more sense.
Christmas is about Christ. It doesn't matter if it was to replace a pagan holiday nor did that holiday go by the name of "Christmas."
Basically Christians did what the militant secularists are doing now. They were offended by a celebration so they changed it to fit with their beliefs.
Christmas has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus. He never asked anyone to celebrate his birthday.
So does that make militant secularists hypocrites for "waring" on Christmas as they claim Christians did towards pagan holidays?
Christmas has absolutely everything to do with jesus. The name literally means "Christ's Mass." It isn't a Biblical commandment, but that doesn't mean it isn't about Christ.
I pulled a good picture of you from Facebook. Hope you don't mind if I post it.How irritating and tacky. I hate when people won't leave me in peace while I'm eating.
Yeah, I'm such a mean scrooge because I enjoy being able to eat a meal in peace.I pulled a good picture of you from Facebook. Hope you don't mind if I post it.
I know what the Grinch is, I didn't mean to directly reference the picture. I just meant that I'm not just some jerk for wanting an undisturbed lunch at the mall. You don't know the difference between Scrooge and the Grinch? Or did you think that was Nancy Pelosi?
If it's so pretty, then they can sing outside, so their song may carry for miles and miles, and all can hear their gift of music.Yeah, because we all know the mall is the place to go for quiet meditation.
If you didn't think the song was pretty, you're heart's too small, Mrs. Grinch.
Oh no, you've discovered the dirty little secret of flash mobs. They're all in on it. :shock:Yup - this really looked unrehearsed and completely spontaneous. what luck that they caught the young lady just as she started to sing after panning the crowd to set the stage. You would have thought they were following a script.
Look what we have come to in the country. Pissed off or a song performance at a mall. Good grief.

I love the winter season, I just hate disruptive crap like this. This time of the year must be hell for you, what with all the happy people around.

Well, now that you've introduced the anti-capitalist angle, I'm not sure what to think.I would think there would be a right wing reaction against this sort of thing as they are blatantly misusing private business property for their own selfish uses. A bloody bunch of pinko commies they must be.
You mean, like this?I would not use the term "pissed off" to describe my reaction or the reaction of others. For me its more like "oh heaven help us".
the people that seem lonely, san, empty and have nothing better to do are the ones who have to pull stunts like this to get on Youtube.
Not only was that completely tacky, they didn't even get nude.
