You're so antagonistic and dogmatic.

You can't be fully "Liberal" or fully "Conservative".

There are some things i'm liberal about, and some things i'm conservative about. To paint it all with one big brush does no service to your arguments, nor debate in general.

Liberals aren't out to get you, or ruin the country any more then conservatives want to make America the Christain states of America.

So relax, smoke a joint, chill out and start looking at things from outside your comfort zone, and you may be surprised how much you could learn.

In American, we have a tradition of learning great lessons from the observations of others. Perhaps you have heard of the Frenchman Alexis de Tocqueville?

What strikes me as Ironic is a civics teacher that doesn't understand the role of govt. and also has a reading comprehension problem, Merry Christmas!

1- what is it about the role of government that I "don't understand" and what evidence do you have to make that judgment? ,

Okay, but why am I being asked about my net worth by conservatives, only? I mean, I didn't bring it up. I see this a lot on many boards.

I don't care what people make, and in my experience, money is the be all, end all of conservative philosophy, and that includes their Christian belief systems.

Since you have been talking about me quite a bit, I figured I could answer this: Christmas is an international holiday. The world celebrates the birth of Christ - even Islam recognizes it as the birth of a great prophet (I guess that's as high as one can go in this world for them). If cons believe Christmas is theirs and theirs alone, an American institution, than we all have much bigger problems than any of us thought.

You are going to slander me, my job performance as a professional and my understanding of my profession and not even have the decency to provide any evidence for your allegation?

I suspect you have no evidence. I suspect you are just spouting off in anger simply because you identify me as a hated liberal and thus you need to attack a perceived heretic who does not worship before the same altar and pray to the same icons as you do.

As for my Christian belief system, you have that partially right, it IS mine and millions and millions of others and the fact that it seems to bother you so much makes that belief system well worth it.

My sense is, if you were European this would not have been said to you. Yes, you may read between the lines.
 
Could you explain how all fifty states can undercut each other with aid to corporations, tax breaks, regulatory breaks and other forms of corporate welfare and all be successful at the same time in this approach.
