Hollywood star Mark Ruffalo has been placed on a terror watch list by U.S. officials after organizing screenings for a new documentary about natural gas drilling.
The Zodiac actor arranged showings for GasLand earlier this year and spoke out about the dangers to the national water supplies.
But his efforts to raise awareness and demand a stop to natural gas drilling attracted the attention of officials from Pennsylvania's Office of Homeland Security.

So much for the Constitution I suppose. It died with the Obama/Napolitano Department of Homeland Security. If Ruffalo was Muslim, he'd be able to get a free pass to fly at will, anywhere from the US.

Well, at least its was not a noble peace prize winner, or anything that was put on the Terror watch list. Ie Nelson Mandala that came out during the bush jr years. I mean come on he is on the freaking Elders of Peace council

No the constitution died with the Bush was the one who implemented Homeland Security after 9/11, but I guess you forgot that didn't you.. I agree with Real Conservative on take off your partisan blinders for a bit ok part.


And I wouldn't buy every thing written by the Mail Online, since the Mail is basically a tabloid paper. Does anyone have other than the mail as a resource?

Apaprently not even a true story. Msnbc made it sound as if this was a publicity stunt for the guys new movie.

But you think it is okay for born-again Christians, returning veterans, anti-abortionists, law abiding gun owners, Tea Party attendees, and otherwise conservative individuals to be placed on terrorist watch lists? During the Bush era, only Muslim terrorists and their supporters were placed on terrorist watch lists. Last time I looked, the US was at war with Muslim extremists, not conservative American citizens. I wonder if Mark Ruffalo is a conservative? Hmm!

So if you didn't read it on the Huffington Post, then it isn't true?

On another forum, I once posted quite a bit of useful info on Jeremiah Wright's church before Obama was elected. This information came from Newsmax. I remember the outcry from the leftist elements when I did so, trying to disclaim the so-called lies. Strange, that information was all proven true. Who would have imagined?

I have never read the Huffington Post. The Washington Post, yes.

"Marie Finn, a spokeswoman for the state's Office of Homeland Security said they have no idea what he's talking about; they don't have a "list," and Ruffalo's never been mentioned in any of their information bulletins. "We are not sure how this originated," she said. We asked the actor's publicist to help us all straighten this out; sadly, she said, he's not available for comment."

It's a war on terror. Not war on Islam as you would prefer it. If certain conservatives go yapping their mouths or make loud asses of themselves and have been assessed as significant threats, sure, keep tabs on them. There are no 'privileged' terrorists in our society and Im sure you would think the same of leftwingers during right wing presidencies. Though occasionally they end up sending a CIA or FBI agent into a left wing weed cookie circle and wasting a ton of time and resources.
 
Actually this has been happening years before Obama got in office, but you are right... It shouldn't happen.

You need to keep better informed. Janet Napolitano of DHS is the one who released how her department was checking up on returning Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans. There was no flapping off at the mouth from them. It's just our leftist government keeping tabs on conservative citizens, those who took an oath to uphold the Constitution, a document that the Obama/Napolitano administration considers an annoyance to their complete domination of the American people.
 
Janet is an idiot even if this is not true, which I don't think it is. Ever since the underwear bomber set fire to his underwear and she said this proves the system works, I lost all respect for her. That and she is ugly as sin. :mrgreen:
