Lowest ever: Obama job approval sinks to 39%, as even Democrats' support melts away.

Nearly 7 in 10 likely voters say the country is on the wrong track...

...most ominous for the president is that he's now losing support among his own party people. His approval plopped nearly 10% in just one week, from 78% down to 72% in Zogby's latest read.

And, oh, my! Lookee here! Obama has... a statistical tie with none other than Sarah Palin...

His 35% approval rating on the economy is the lowest of his presidency.

The question is, will he run again?

People point to Clinton post midterms, but Clinton did two things:

1. He signed a lot of Republican legislation, including welfare reform... which he swore he wouldn't. (Clinton being who he is, tried on its 10th anniversary, to take credit for its huge success.)

2. He started a stealth campaign on TV in southern states that was under the radar; a brilliant tactic from his mastermind Dick Morris.

Obama won't likely do enough of the first, and the second trick was a one-time only performance, just like Obama's bait-and-switch. Neither are gonna work this time around.

PS. It's the economy Stupid.

It would seem that 39% of the people are not yet paying attention.

Re: Lowest ever: Obama job approval sinks to 39%, as even Democrats' support melts aw

It's not surprising, really. Obama has been one of the most divisive presidents we've had.

Re: Lowest ever: Obama job approval sinks to 39%, as even Democrats' support melts aw

Obama's rhetoric to the during his 2007-2008 campaign was inspiring. The problem is, he had nothing to back it up and now supporters are disappointed, independents are disinterested and conservatives are saying "I told you so". He was a great idea that just could never materialize because it was all talk. Obama reminds me of the snake oil salesman promising everything will be better with the purchase of just one bottle.

Re: Lowest ever: Obama job approval sinks to 39%, as even Democrats' support melts aw

"Hope," "change," and "transparency" come to mind as examples. Too bad none of those happened.

I'd also like to say: You can touch you're brain, ill give you a hacksaw... have some fun.

Um, not to rain on anyone's parade (and Obama's diminishing presence pleases me as well), but last time I checked the new math, 78-72 was 6... which is hardly 'nearly 10'

I'm just sayin...

Jon Stewart Critiques President Obama in 'Daily Show' Interview (VIDEO)
to bad people don't see the bigger picture. . . . . I will keep posting this video until someone watches it and gets it.

I know full well that Stewart critiqued Obama. It is good to know not all of them are of one mind.

I'd also like to say: You can touch you're brain, ill give you a hacksaw... have some fun.

You're the third; frankly, I enjoy it. The metaphysical mind is not the physiological brain; we cannot see all aspects of everything intangible within our minds, so there are things that exist that we cannot see. The fMRI does not show all intangible aspects. (I'm planning to start researching more deeply that issue.)

I ment his talk on the healthcare. how some old lady won't have to sell her house to get the treatment for her cancer. Thats big. I'm Pro-Choice by the way. And if you think we are worst now then with Bush, then you must of been sleeping for 8 years.

This is great news because it means fewer of the Americans are falling for Obama's lies.

Since according to Gallup only 21% of Americans are Liberals we need only get 18% of the population to start thinking for themselves to throw Obama and his whole apparatus, Biden, all the radical, Socialists/Communists/Marxists/Terrorists, Czars and advisers out on there butts.

Obama promised hope, openness and, transparency, and what the truth turned out to be is the following.

Hope: Obama had been hoping that the majority would not catch on to his lies.

Openness 7 Transparency: It now turns out that Obama's lies to most thinking Americans have been openly transparent.

Way to go America, you're beginning to think and it's really different.

Re: Lowest ever: Obama job approval sinks to 39%, as even Democrats' support melts aw

Again, Obama injects race into his speeches far too often.

Google Dr. Alan Snyder.
I use some of his research in some of my business.

A man takes credit for legislation he signed? My god the nerve of that man.

Just like the Kanuckistani's don't? Or the Germans? Or Brits? Wait!!! Don't they come here to get care they can't get at home and pay for it from their own pockets. Selling the home? Soon she might not have to worry about her house or cancer. She'll be on some waiting list and die. Or some panel will tell her... sorry... too expensive.

Why? Because you're a COST not an individual.

CANCER SURVIVAL RATES USA vs. EU
Now the Huns, Frenchies and the Brits can access our technology if they want to pay for it, and we have all learned they are more compassionate and healthy... so why the significant disparity? Is it that they are incompetent, or is it because their systems suck?
...largest survey ever in examining how the nations of Europe fare with respect to cancer survival rates has been released...

Europe’s survival rates are lower than in the US, where 66.3 per cent of men and 62.9 per cent of women survive for five years, compared with 47.3 per cent of European men and 55.8 per cent of women.

Americans can buy insurance you know. You do know that, don't you? But when the state intercedes, you're a number, a cost to be managed, and preferably dead before you cost them too much.

Just ask Paul Krugman.

You all do understand that each of the last 8 Presidents, with the exception of Ford, at their lowest, had approval rating worse than this. Just saying.

Re: Lowest ever: Obama job approval sinks to 39%, as even Democrats' support melts aw

Perhaps the point simply flewed ways over yer hed; Point being he signed legislation he swore he would never sign, for legislation he was adamantly opposed. He triangulated. Put that finger of his in the air and checked which way the wind was blowing.

That is something he did for political survival, and something Obama seems too ideological to do.

A decade later he tries to claim credit for a bill that was successful which he opposed. Some probably forgot... Hey, it's Clinton, and that legacy thing he's trying to shape. I understand... he want to replace Lewinsky and the-scandal-of-the-month-club presidency into something substantive. It's why he had Sandy Burgler stuff docs down his shorts that most likely would have exposed him for the boob he was when it came to national security.

So let me get this straight. A politician never changes his mind on an issue and therefore never signs this bill which you support, therefore he gains no respect with you. OR a politician for whatever reason, signs this bill and then takes credit for its successes, however since he at one point came out against it he's now just playing politics. Is there anyway for someone to 'win' with you?

Perhaps he changed his mind, or perhaps he did it for political reasons. Point is, in your view he did a good thing but his reasons were wrong. Give him credit for what he did, even if you think he did it for the wrong reasons in your view.

Of course doing that would require your removal from a binary thought process.

Re: Lowest ever: Obama job approval sinks to 39%, as even Democrats' support melts aw

Oh my the nahsayers that detest Obama are out in full force pushing polls and that are only snap shots in time. Never mind the last eight presidents have had lower ratings at some point in their terms, and some have come back to win a decisive victory in their second terms. Smacks of desperation to me.

I'm still waiting for someone other than has beens or morons to put their hat in the ring for 2012 on the republican side. It sure isn't Gingerich, Palin, or the guy from my state that won't make it past the gate once the media starts digging in his claims to fame. My man Mitch ain't what he's made out to be. He's caused a lot of misery in my state of Indiana and has sold out to big business and ditched our education system.
