Sarah Palin coins ‘word of the year,’ books boffo cable debut

It really bothers you that GW Bush was elected twice, doesn't it? Running a business and even failing gives one more experience than Obama ever had. People learn from their experiences, too bad some people don't have the ability to do actual research. GW Bush will be judged much better than you and others who use your partisan blinders that ignore actual results. A lot of bankrupt individuals made it big learning from their failures. obama not once has been held to the same standards that you always held Bush to and that is your problem.

that's true, some people learn from their experiences, and others just give up and run for office.

Yes, she invested her own money into cattle futures and made a fortune with insider information. I said that Hillary was better than obama, just not the answer to what we need. I will take another Governor any day over Hillary or our Community Organizer.

By the way still looking for that 600 billion you claimed would be reduced from the deficit if the tax on the rich expired?

i never claimed any such thing. i think you mught be delusional.

No.

I'll remind you of this the next time you say results count.

People learn from mistakes, but not in the liberal world. Make a mistake and get bailed out but only if you are a union. Results do matter except in the liberal world where rhetoric trumps results.

Nice rhetoric you got going on there .

People make wild claims and accusations they can't back up. Quite often they make generalizations, especially on the internets.

And I'm sorry but "Only if you're in the union"

So the fat cats on Wall Street didn't get bailed out?

Sir are you on this planet or do you just enjoy being ignorant?

Me too, I think ANY thinking American would, but that said, she wouldn't be my first choice for President, that's for sure.

Tim-

Haven't heard that she is running for President but it is obvious that thinking people didn't vote for Obama. It was all about feelings and buying the rhetoric. He is in over his head, delegated responsibility as that is all he knows how to do. Responsibility can never be delegated, only authority but if that authority comes up with bad policy the one that gave that authority is responsible for the results. "The Buck stops here!"

Obama doesn't have a clue how to make a payroll or how to manage anything, his was nothing more than a community agitator. Helping the community isn't what Obama did, instead he tried to redistribute wealth and that isn't how our economy was built.

I have no problem with a community organizer but just not one as President.

I think being a community organizer is a great background for any political to have, because it requires a lot of the same leadership skills.. Politicians who are proactive in the community through townhall meetings and talking, listening to the people, understanding their struggles.. are less likely to loose touch with the people.

Now you can go on and say Obama sucks at understanding the struggles of common people.. but to say community organization is a resume black mark for a president is just silly. I am sure if Palin had a background in it, you would love it. You wouldn't shun it or knocking it down like being a fry cook at McDonald's.

The fat cats on Wall Street did indeed get bailed out just like the people who made stupid decisions to buy a home they couldn't afford. Personal responsibility goes both ways, why the outrage over Wall Street, they didn't force people to sign anything?

I live in the Greatest country on the face of the earth that Obama and liberals are trying to destroy.

Yes, we're out to get you.

Never said it was a black mark, good for him, just doesn't qualify him to be President and lead a private sector economy.

Being in Congress is a recession proof position and that is the point. Hillary never ran a business, never made a payroll, never invested her own money thus taking risk and never suffered during any recession that Congressional policies created.

I don't think people learn how to protect the constitution and govern a free republic by running a business. If you really want to vote on somebody's business skills, then why don't you endorse Romney?

Oh deary me.

There is no hope for you my son.

"Wax on, Wax... ah **** it".

What people learn by running a business is the personal responsibility that comes with the job. How do you know that I don't endorse Romney? I would vote for Romney or anyone else who has actually run something over Obama.

And didn't Palin support the bailout? I am pretty sure she did, when McCain went and voted for it

The president doesn't lead the private sector economy.. so why does he need to be qualified to do it

Yes, and so did Obama, what is your point. That is a strike against both of them.

His policies affect the private sector economy and if you have never been in the private sector you don't have a clue how those policies affect private business.

I wonder how the people at GM feel about his policies:

General Motors' pending initial public offering has the hallmarks of being a success. With the shares nearly ready to begin trading on Wall Street, today GM increased the size of the IPO to 478 million common shares, up 31% from the previously planned 365 million shares. Just yesterday, the auto giant boosted the range of the common share price to $32 to $33 a share from the initial range of $26 to $29 a share.

Let's see, the taxpayer bailout and then bought out GM/Chrysler and you get excited about the IPO. Let's get excited when the entire bailout funds are paid back. Let me know when that happens.

Because you and others attack her and have made her an issue.
I'm laughing at her gaffe. I'm not "attack"ing her. And she made herself an issue when she accepted the nomination in 2008. It has nothing to do with me or anyone else other than her and whoever it was on McCain's staff that thought she was worthy of nomination.

So is it possible to laugh at the actions of your own side, or is that far too dangerous to even contemplate?

It certainly seems to be headed in the direction of the bail outs being paid back.

Now back to my question

I wonder how the people at GM feel about his policies?

Everybody in politics slides the responsibility to somebody else...

And as somebody running the financial and tax aspects of a family owned business, I don't think my skills have anything to do with the president's job. I build spreadsheets, keep ledgers, and write checks. I am not reading complicated laws, writing laws, in charge of other people's lives, declaring war, or managing international diplomacy. There are no similarities.

If any leadership position is more like running the government, it's being a military leader.. not a business exec.

Doubt that anyone that voted for Obama has a lot of room to talk about Palin's qualifications to be President. Obama supporters seem to buy his rhetoric which they valued higher than his resume and now even more than his results. I would take Palin in a heartbeat over the empty suit we have in the WH.

I find it funny that people still argue that Palin is qualified to be president. She quit. She plays the victim ad nauseum, and she is an idiot.

I didn't vote for Obama. But I'm even less likely to vote for Palin.
