So How Did the Bush Tax Cuts Work Out for the Economy?

Saddam was not actively agressive in 2003. And Kay has said that Saddam was mostly trying to bluff Iran into thinking he was a tiger when he wasn't.

Of course Saddam had no claws in 2003. Our sanctions reduced him and his army down to a shadow of what they once were.

All our occupation forces did was stir up the long running feud between the Shia and the Sunni and make up stories about the phantom al qaeda threat...

Did you serve Iraq? How do you know what was going on inside the country and can you explain to me why the Military had such support for Bush as CIC and not so much for Obama?

you are correct-in 2003 we invaded and castrated Saddam's power so most of that year (march on) he was declawed

Obama approval ratings are based upon his results as his rhetoric has worn off.

Exactly my point. Presidents approval ratings are based on their results, except for GWB, who has one of the lowest approval ratings in the history of country. He just got unlucky because he came in office during a small recession and left during a large one.

is it your position that jacking them up will help

such actions won't help those of us who already pay 40% of the income taxes

our country became the greatest in the world with no or almost no income taxes

The Depression was accentuated by Hoover's tax hikes followed by FDR's tax hikes

The Government cannot create jobs and Obama has proven that once and for all.

The people who do creat the jobs are the ones Obama and the Liberal idiots want to punish for making the money that gives them the ability to hire new people and start new businesses.

Tax cut's alone will never be enough because it's also able perception. The whole economy is based on how good or bad people feel about spending what little they have.

Now because Obama and his reckless spending has nothing to show for for doubling the debt faster than any time in history no one wants to risk a dime.

It takes reduced spending and Tax cuts, and repealing the PHONY Health care nonsense that will only create more lost jobs, befor ethere can be any trun around.

In California we are going to have to file Bankruptcy because of a new clean air nonsense that will cost a million jobs and drive what little business there is left out of State all because of the PHONY GLOBAL WARMING HOAX.

The cost of everything sold in California is about to jump by as much as 20% electric cost is going up 30% gas will go to $9 a gal and it will cost a family where two people use the freeways to drive to work about $10,000 a year more to drive and that is over and above the price of gas,

Attitude is everything and I am among those who will most likely moving out of the STATE soon, not because i want to but because I will have to.

There is a revolution coming and I want to miss it.

Bush record was spun negatively as the actual results prove. Democrat control of Congress started in January 2007. People voted for Obama and ignored his resume which showed someone totally unqualified to be President and yet the country bought the rhetoric. The results show that those who paid attention to the resume were right not to vote for Obama. he is a community agitator and no leader.

I served two tours in Iraq in the good ol' Garryowen, seen combat in both Najaf and Fallujah. I can tell you that although there were no weapons of mass destruction, no Alqaeda presence, and we did start a civil war, bottom line is we freed the Iraqis from Saddams tyranny. Libs complain about spending tax dollars on Operation Iraqi Freedom, but then turn around and try to spend our money on healthcare and housing for Americans. I'd much rather see it going to helpless Iraqis who were living under an oppressive regime.

One of my friends ran a business in California-it was involved in making high end archery gear. He moved the distribution operations to Indiana and he and his SO moved to Arizona because they were sick of the taxes. While it wasn't a huge business it still employed people and paid a fair amount of taxes. Some liberals think that companies have a duty to get screwed over by local state or the federal government

I am a big supporter of companies abandoning parasitic environments and starving those who want to parasatize them

LOL, did you run into my Nephew in Fallujah? You are a piece of work.

You got any sources for that brother. I love links to prove these liberals wrong.

LOL, I won't be giving any conservative imposter with an alias McCain2012 any link to anything. I will just continue to expose you as the imposter you are. I played that game a lot better than you when I was younger.

Can you explain to me how Obama won an election with 52% of the vote and today has an approval rating of 38-42% losing 10-14% of his base?

Not because Obama is wrong and conservatives are right, but because many democrats are gullible, believe one sided bad news.

Yeah I was thinking another "old argyle" sock puppet

How is it looking in Ohio, Turtle? Kasich, Portman, Chabot?

Portman (a close personal friend) should win

Chabot (another friend) should win as well since the hordes of first time Obama voter-bots in 2008 won't be as heavy (Chabot would have won in 2008 if the same group that voted in 2006) had voted-it was the obamabots that elected Pelosi's pet monkey Driehaus.

Kasich-Strickland-too close to call-I went back and forth on this one. I voted for Strickland last time-he has always been good on gun rights and Kasich sucked on that in 94 but Kasich's running mate is solid pro gun and Strickland's is not and the reapportionment committee includes the governor

Read and weep George W. Bush had the worst job creation on record.

Bush On Jobs: The Worst Track Record On Record - Real Time Economics - WSJ

What's that? The Wall Street Journal is saying this?

Obama is making Bush look great. Obama has lost 4 million jobs in 2 years, in 8 Bush still created 6.5 million with two recessions. You really need to get over your BDS. Bush left office with 143 million people employed, today that number is 139 million. Looks to me like Obama is headed in the wrong direction.

You know exactly what I mean... Knock off the sophomoric games...

ricksfolly

Sorry, no I really don't. Democrats have controlled the Congress and the media for the past two years so when you say one sided news, I don't really know what you are talking about. The one sided news has been pro Obama and how great he is. the actual results show a different story and are what matters.
