Bush bailed out the banks (TARP), how is that the "free market?"Yes Bush did minimal and let the free markets work he did not take over companies and industries like Obama has
Fear or racism? Throw OUT the racism-rhetoric and stop playing that card, please. It's VERY old - especially considering that it came into play when *Clinton* - people calledh im our first black president and obviously he was far from it in the literal sense.
CNN Poll: Was Bush better president than Obama? – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs
Looks like a few people out there would like a do-over on Obama.
Bush had eight yrs. Obama will only have four. I guess we'll never be able to compare them.
Bush bailed out the banks (TARP), how is that the "free market?"
I'm sure you can back that up with some quotes.
You mean like he did blaming Clinton for everything during his presidency? Or did he even leave that to his underlings?
I just meant that there is no reason to hate him the way people (republicans) do, for anything he has done or tried to do, especially compared to his predecessor.
President Bush brought us to war, Obama tries to give free healthcare.. this poll makes me wonder how many people read the bible?
maybe it's naive of me to base my opinions about THE PEOPLE LEADING OUR COUNTRY, on what kind of person they are, and what direction they're bringing us and our country.
The only reason to down a president such as Barack Obama, is out of fear and racism. Bush and his colleagues ruined our country by GOING TO WAR ON LIES. If you can not see that our current president is a promising intellectual and that he is doing his best to fix the state of the nation, than you are closing your eyes to the truth as you all have been doing for years. To think that Obama is "trying to ruin our country" is a ridiculous slander and by no means does any evidence support this. For the rest of eternity may president George W. Bush be remembered as the worst president to ever have weaseled his way into office.

Point still stand it is a stupid question and poll. You can't judge and compare a presidency to another one when it isn't even over yet.
I don't think anybody is trying to claim otherwise. It's an assessment of Obama up until this point. Obviously things can get better or worse, but that doesn't mean a comparison thus far is "unfair."
You sure as hell can judge the first two years and this country has gone to hell in a handbasket since Hussein Obama became president.........When are you lefties going to realize we don't want a socialist country.............
How close would you say we are to becoming a socialist country?
How close would you say we are to becoming a socialist country?
A lot coser then you think...................Thank God we will be throwing the bums out in November before its to late..........
The economy is crap because after all but 8 Senators signed it, President Clinton reversed the Glass–Steagall Act of the 1933. President Bush did not address it. The jury is still out whether or not President Obama will deal with it.
But it's not just the President who has to deal with it. Congress has to write the bill that the President will sign into law. With the power special interests have over our Representatives and Senators, good luck getting that to happen.
The same folks who are blaming President Obama, failed to put any blame on President Bush for 8 years. How is this fair and importantly, why doesn't the mainstream media point this out?
Yep. We are screwed. But wasn't it President Obama that projected negative rhetoric about special interest groups when he was running for office? The throne changes many hearts. They've all sold us out.
