Estimates Say Fewer Jobs, Larger Deficits if Republicans Were in Charge

I haven't counted. But I did provide articles that gave numbers on teachers, and how many are now losing their jobs because the stimulus money is ending. So, I did give some numbers to look at. If we KNOW some education jobs were saved, evidence given, then we KNOW some jobs were saved. The only debate after that is how many.

Teachers are not private industry, but they are part of a union.

Still waiting for you to explain why the Federal govt. has any responsibility for state education issues? Do you believe in state's rights at all?

By the way, the evidence is only in your mind because that is what you want to believe.

States rights related to education are party to blame for why we have some states with a good academic record, and some with abysmal academic record. There needs to be at least a federal standard, otherwise the farmer mentality will take over and we will have kids graduating too poorly educated to handle first year college, or trade school math.

Not all of them....right to work states they get a choice, and many choose not to join the union...

I have news for you, all teachers are not part of a union. And being part of a union doesn't remove them from private industry.
