Did anyone hear about this? There was a Tea Party protest in North Carolina sometime this past week, and this Obama supporter comes up and starts shouting about how the economy is Bush's fault. Then he gets mad at the camera guy, and tells him to turn his camera off. Then he starts shoving the camera guy and his wife, and when the camera guy tries to protect his wife, the Obama supporter punches him in the face. I've got the vid linked to my post: Tea Party Protesters Attacked by Obama Supporter

I guess he's not too big a supporter of Liberty.

I thought the Tea Partiers were the hideous ones... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

Now... I wonder how big this would have been reported during the last election had someone done this to an Obi supporter or gathering?
Can we say Press Feeding Frenzy?
Racist?
Bigot?
Could we expect another expose into the individual a'la Joe the Plumber?

I think we all can say a collective...
Yes We Can...
Yes We Can...
Yes We Can...

Tucker...this avatar sucks...LOL :)

Just a person with a little too much passion and not enough brains and self control, no one take this as big red flag that shows exactly how all Liberals or Obama supporters or whoever are.

Also I dont know if anyone else sees this but I find a bit of irony in my personal observation that conservative individuals complain way more about being "picked on" despite the image many generally support of being self-reliant, independent and even tough.

I didn't say that this reflects all liberals or even Obama, I just think it's newsworthy. And I see your point about the complaining, but I don't think it's too much to complain about getting punched in the face. I think I'd complain, too.

Sorry I didn't mean that for specifically you or anyone else, just anyone who decided to complain about liberals or whoever else. And anyone who would take the stupid actions of one person against another person as a personal attack simply because they think the victim has the same or similar political views.

No it's not all Libs, but what if this were turned around and during the last election?
Bar the doors...

I don't think R's are complainers, except in defense of Liberty.

For example, at every turn we hear FOXNEWS from the left.
It's one channel in a sea of commi-lib crap... yet they can't tolerate a network that actually looks at both sides.
Has balance when it comes to panels.
Has registered D's on their staffs, as well as conservatives.
And to their credit, they've never tried to swing a presidential election in its dying days.
The never propagandized for Saddam like CNN.
They have never retracted a story.

To be a conservative, you need a thicker skin... no doubt.
You don't see our side tearing up the streets, protesting at every turn, yet when some do... protest peacefully for the first time in decades... in the pursuit, defense and restoration of Liberty... what happens?
From the President (Mr. Uniter), to the leftist networks... they start ragging on the individuals who protest for liberty and limited government.

Bizarro. They not only ragged, they failed to report, and they actually served as puppets of defense for Obama.

Ah, I see. Well, I certainly don't think that Obama supporter meant me any harm. Of course, if I were there, I'd be filming from a distance. :D

I agree that media coverage would be very different if the political roles were reversed. I almost wish there was an identical incident with the roles reversed so I could test that out. *Almost.*

How about you let us slide on this one and we'll let you slide on the rednecks who drove to DC with a really, really terrible assassination plan?

Damn. It looks like youfail removed the video. Don't they know it's important to my blog?

Why let that slide? Assassination attempts are awful, and anyone who tries to pull something like that has no brains and no faith in their political argument. There are a lot of people who simply disagree with Obama's ideas and methods, but we're not nutter butters. And we don't feel that people who are nutter butters reflect who we are. So go ahead and talk about them all you want. I condemn their actions, too. And we'll talk about this nut who threw punches, and you're free to condemn him, also.

Well hey, if one person who didn't like Bush did it, must mean ALL people who didn't approve of him are violent, classless rubes! Seriously though, every time something like this happens Fox and talk radio jump to generalize it to all liberals (if he actually is liberal). Remember the guy who got his finger bitten off at a town hall?

It is kind of sad too because a few years back I was at an anti-war protest and the father of a dead soldier was carrying a casket to commemorate his son and counter protestors attacked him and ripped the pictures of his son for having the NERVE to criticize the war! Not a peep from the media though when that happened.

I disagree. I've known (and lived with) many people who disagreed with Bush, and most of them weren't violent. I'm not sure where you're getting your info, or maybe you're jumping to conclusions...

Rofl! Rofl! Rofl!

When I first seen the video on Fox News this afternoon my first thought was, this in not worthy of national news and Fox is only using it as a tool to promote resentment for pro Obama/anti Bush supporters. Much like how other news stations try and portray tea parties as anti Obama racists.

I figured the quantifier "Seriously though" would show that comment was sarcasm.

People like this are what gives Liberals, and Conservatives a bad name, or stupid stereotypes god I hate stereotypes. This is someone with no class what so ever. I tend to agree with somepeoplesay that this is not how all Liberals act. sarcasm noted and I lol'd at it

Yeah, I noticed that. I just thought it was unnecessary on your part, considering that everyone else admitted that they didn't think this was "typical liberal behavior", of what have you.

There are those on all sides:

Here's Nashville in March of this year:

Obama Bumper Sticker Sparks Road Rage | Pith in the Wind | Nashville Scene

I was yelled at at the Corner Pub by a Tea Partier who claimed - not that 9/11 was just generally Clinton's fault, but that Clinton was in office during 9/11.

Now - the funny thing about the crazy drunk Tea Partier, is that she was interrupting a conversation I was having with a friend who is a conservative and a supporter of the Tea Party.

So, what I'm saying is that I was having a sane, enjoyable debate with a friend of opposing stripes - only for us to be rudely interrupted by someone who agreed with him (she was trying to back him) - but couldn't get a fact straight to save her life.

I guess I'm just saying I know that the loons don't represent everyone who shares beliefs with them.

What was your second thought?

this video works against the republican ***** in the violet shirt

at the 1:26 mark of the video below you will notice mrs tabor questions why a black man dares attend a teabagger gathering instead of being on a job. she also initiates contact with mr spencer by blocking his path
that provoked the ensuing fight where the wimp threw two lefts and missed and spencer replied with a solid left to tabor's face (see the attempted assault by tabor in the first six seconds of the first video)
YouTube - NC Tea Partiers Attacked by Black Radical 6/9/10
notice how spencer pissed off the teabaggers by speaking the truth they did not want to hear - that it was dicknbush who deregulated for the benefit of the crooks and thieves
i look forward to seeing how this plays out in court. the RNC better bring in their top attorneys if they want to protect tabor's lame ass

Why aren't Libbos denouncing such violent behavior? You all went ape **** when it was erroneously reported that Tea Partiers had said nigger, spat and made threats.

Where are ya'll, now?
