Flotilla passengers: Go back to Auschwitz

Present evidence the Audio is faked, present it, and we can go from there. Otherwise... \
.

And how could someone prove that?

We've already proven that it had been edited. I don't see how we could prove that it is a fake, just like you could not prove that it is authentic.

Great. I'm sure their supporters won't even care.

Maybe because that's just not true, it's a biased source.
The IDF has admitted that the tape is edited(was cut short), and has released an unedited version.
I'll repeat Redress statement who has shown the most logical response in this thread so far: As long as you have no proof that the tape is doctored or not doctored, you should stop debating about its validity.

Then stop trying to prove either and carry on.
I'll believe the tape since I know how the IDF operates, you can believe whatever you want.

Um they admitted to editing not doctoring it to make it appear that things were said that weren't said. The only evidence for that is the word of the flotilla people.

And the only evidence against it is the word of the IDF, which is in a bit of PR hot water over this incident, and has every reason in the world to attempt to vilify the aid workers in the eyes of the international community and thereby make their own actions, which many disapprove of, seem more justifiable.

Israel has presented this as 'proof' has it not.

What again has happened to the one recording which was released on the day saying just that they were going to Gaza. One explanation could be that Israel thought this would be sufficient for the world to accept that it was right to do what she did. When this proved not to be the case, more was needed. That is one possibility.

When you listen to the full tape it just doesn't sound very plausible to me.

For instance when the guy says in the 'full' version 'Shut up, go back ', it is said after a lengthy pause. Usually when someone says 'shut up' they are irritated and they say it immediately. The pause does not seem right.

Secondly the one about 9/11 just sounds nuts and doesn't have any emotional quality that is appropriate to the situation.

However on proof. Unfortunately the Israeli's have taken the Free Gaza recordings so they are unable to present them.

The tapes may be genuine but they also may not. For that I think they are inadmissible evidence.

This is what we refer to as an ad-hominem logical fallacy. First of all there is much more evidence than this audio recording, the Flotilla was organized by the jihadist affiliated Islamist organization the IHH of Turkey, they owned and operated three of the ships involved including the one that attacked the weapons inspectors, we have three of the "activists" on record by Turkish newspapers stating their desire to become Shahid (martyrs), we have video/audio of the "activists" invoking battle cries against the Jews, we have close up video of one of the weapons inspectors being stabbed and another being beaten by metal pipes. Considering all of that I would suggest that the word of the IDF is far superior in this matter than that of the ringleader of the Jihadist flotilla.

If they're shooting and killing people who (allegedly) make derogatory remarks about their religion, then you are correct: they are out of control.
Much like Islamic extremists who attempt (mostly unsuccessfully) to kill cartoonists who depict Mohammad.

The Israelis responded to the use of deadly force with the use of deadly force.

That's a huge double standard.

You do not believe anything that comes from "biased sources", but on the other hand you say that you blindly believe the evidences given by the IDF, as if the IDF itself was not biased.

To simply dismiss the audio recording based on the source alone is an ad-hominem logical fallacy. Moreover, there is much more evidence than this audio recording which points us to the true nature of these "peace activists", the Flotilla was organized by the jihadist affiliated Islamist organization the IHH of Turkey, they owned and operated three of the ships involved including the one that attacked the weapons inspectors, we have three of the "activists" on record by Turkish newspapers stating their desire to become Shahid (martyrs), we have video/audio of the "activists" invoking battle cries against the Jews, we have close up video of one of the weapons inspectors being stabbed and another being beaten by metal pipes. No, that's not double standard, that's admitting that my words are my own opinion.
A double standard is what you've embraced when you've given credibility to a source that comes from those same activists, while completely denying any chance that this record is indeed real.
I choose to believe the tape because I have knowledge and experience with the way the IDF operates, and doctoring communication recordings for the sake of propaganda is absolutely not one of them.

The activists responded to the use of deadly force.

That's bull**** and you aren't fooling anyone, they have attacked without being attacked.
They have engaged in an assault and an attempt to murder, and have got what they deserved.

how do we know it is the truth then, if they admitted to editing tapes, so I can never fully trust these tapes in question. Why not give the media the whole tape instead of what the IDF wants us too see as the full truth. Are the scared that it will damage their case of self defense

The uneditted tape was uploaded ages ago by the IDF, stop complaining about this already.
If the IDF would have known that folks would complain about them removing blank listening time, they'd upload the uneditted version from the beginning.

So far, you've exhorted fellow forum members to "quit complaining", "quit debating" and "quit questioning".
See, that's not the way it works, here in America.
You have no authority here (or anywhere else, I'll wager).

Spare me the drama that you lack in your life.
