nope because the fact remains Don Imus has a HISTORY of being racist and not during monologues or comedy bits but behind the scenes and in real life. So hypocrisy in THIS case isnt a factor. :D

yep pretty sad, all one has to do is watch that show and use common sense and if you come to the conclusion it was racist then you have serious issues IMO
 
If Limbaugh or Beck made the exact same statement, those defending Maher would be screaming bloody murder. :roll:

They are not comedians. Maher wasn't making political points, he was doing his monologue, which is basically nothing more than stand-up.

Beck is/was in fact a comedian. Limbaugh uses humor continuously in his 3 hour talk show. Maher is continually making political statements under cover of being a comedian which aren't funny. Both Beck and Limbaugh are funnier and more inclusive than Maher. But, to Maher's credit, he did get Obama to show what a coarse crude unpresidential person he is with his kick a## comment.

We'll have to disagree on that, I think Maher is hilarious. But I think we can both agree it wasn't a racist comment.

That is the most hilarious thing I have ever heard. I think the difference between why Limbaugh and Beck is funnier, is because I'm laughing at them (and their absolute ludicrous ****) And laughing WITH Maher.

Context is everything. If Beck made the same statement in the same way I would have laughed too.
 
People use the branding of racism to hit those they dont agree with.Both sides of the political spectrum are guilty of this maybe the left more so than the right.Why dont we stop doing this its weak argue against peoples arguements dont try and silience them before they are made.
 
Maher is correct, the President is not real black. He's more a medium chocolate brown. Could say, he's real brown.
