All in all I still don't think that what Bloomberg said is that defamatory. Stupid? yes. Should everyone be so outraged over it? No. He was just suggesting ideas, its not like he acted like theres alot of teapartiers out there that would do this or that he was certain it was one. He even followed it up with "it could be anything" just to let everyone know that they really didn't have any idea at that point.

If we had just passed restrictions on all civil engineers and then a Republican Mayor or Governor came out and said "well, it could have been a disgruntled civil engineer or something. It could be anything." I wouldn't get upset. If any of my coworkers would get upset then I'd proceed to tease them about their whining. It's a silly thing to be outraged over.

As long as conservatives keep complaining about what mustard the president likes, and how he's racist cause he mentioned blacks, Hispanics and women in a speech, and death panels, and killing grandma, and don't fill out the census cause that's how they rounded up the Japanese etc... you can keep expecting all sensible people to be laughing at anyone outraged over insignificant, petty little squabbles.

So I bring up the faux outrage, you remark that it's a talking point, I bring up some subjects where the right has used faux outrage, then I'm just being hysterical and hyperbolic, lol.

Everything I listed has been brought up by the right and they have acted outraged over it. There was no exageration there.

Me thinks you just felt so proud that you found a spot to use those two words that you just squeezed them in anywhere they would fit, lol. We're all very proud of you. ;)

Also, why is everyone assuming that he meant tea partiers when he only said that maybe it was someone who didn't agree with the health care bill? Are you saying that only tea partiers disagreed with the healthcare bill?

Makes my point even more valid. You're trying to stretch his words to fit your group so that little outrage session of your's can keep chugging right along.

Should I be offended because he may have been talking about me because I didn't like that there wasn't a public option in the bill?

Let's have some intellectual honesty here. For months MSNBC and their monions have been berating the "hate speech" of groups like the tea party.

Chris ( tingle up my leg) Matthews speculated that it might be a right wing but on his show.

I am sure the response is that it was only speculation not an accusing, big deal.
 
I got people slamming me because I called the Times Square bomber an islamic jihadist after he was caught. But the mayor of NY says this about tea partiers. those same people still refuse to call Nidal Hasan an islamic terrorist. What gives? Is it fear that makes people bury thier heads in the sand when it comes to jihadist?

Hasan was the Ft. Hood shooter. Shooting at soldiers is not terrorism. We did declare war on them, after all.

First of all they declared war on us, we have not declared war since WWII, secondly Hasan also shot civilians, he was in contact with terrorist recruters in Yeman, he was a self declaid jihadist fighting for allahs cause but he wasn't a terrorist? I think the Fort Hood Shooter was a crazy ass who is someone with a mental illness this is what I think from the way he was described. However Bloomberg is an idiot this is not some tea parties mad about Obamacare.

So you see there is more than one definition for jihad. Jihad is also holy war against infidels. That in itsself is evil. To declare holy war on those who do not believe simply because they refuse to submit to Allah.

You should never quote Wikipedia. It is an unreliable source since it can readily be manipulated by any party with a penchance for exaggeration.

So you're saying if an attack occurs on a military base in the Green Zone in Iraq, it is not terrorism? What college professor told you that one, since it is obvious you are not posting from a war zone?
