President Obama tossed out the first pitch at Nationals Park Monday afternoon, throwing high and wide to start the Washington team's opener against the Philadelphia Phillies. …

Doffing his Chicago White Sox cap while on the mound probably didn't endear him to the Nationals fans.

It made it past home base which for a politician is saying something.

I too make my opinion on politicians based on their ability to throw a baseball.

Even though there are many things I disagree with regarding his politics, I gotta agree with the man about the White Sox and the Bears.

That throw was pretty sad but he plays basketball better than I do, So I guess I can't knock him too much for it.

He would throw better if he was a Red Sox fan. Silly President Obama picking the wrong color of the sox.

If you think his pitch was bad, do a search for other politicians and celebrities who threw out opening pitches. They make Obama look like Nolan Ryan.

Isn't there some video out there of him nailing a 3-pointer on a basketball court?

Betcha can't find any other head of state from any country doing that!

Him being able to shoot the three means nothing. The man can't produce two winning brackets and misspells one of the schools. Therefore he is an unworthy leader for America.

The white sox cap...I'll tell you this...I give him points for standing by his home team.

On the other hand...he pitches like a little bitch!!!

I dislike Presidents or VP's getting booed on principle at these type of things...

However, I can let that slide a bit if you go out there and put on the cap of an entirely different team :doh

Though really, who would WANT to wear a Nat's hat at the moment :\

Actually, the crowd is right in booing Obama. He moves to Washington and won't support the home team. However, if he had donned a Nationals cap, I am sure there are a few people who would demand to see his "certificate of Washington fandom" for proof. They would want the long form too.

I lived in New York for several years and have always been a Vikings fan. People who give up their hometown teams just because they move are dirty traitors! Do you want the president to be a traitor? Why do you hate America?
