Hey...just out of curiosity...from your perspective...How exactly is dumping the country another 1.5 trillion in debt your first year, sitting back doing nothing about unemployment or the economy, and promoting a federal healthcare agenda that we cant pay for and that the economy NOR the people support 'fixing' anything?

Is it quite possible she wasn't implying he was gonna pay for it? thats a bit of a stretch when she did not use those exact words.

Is it at all possible she simply meant that it was not gonna bankrupt her, and she might have enough money to pay for those things?

Perhaps I should change my Ideology thingey. Because to me Very Liberal means something very very different to what it means to you. For example, our conservatives in Canada, would be blasted in America as communists. Pretty much. Perhaps I should put, centrist or independant, I just happen to be liberal on alot of subjects. But I am conservative on others, as any person with half a brain should be, willing to see things from both sides.

I used that clip to denote ANYONE that just blindly follows ANY party.

We have a massive debt. We have low consumer confidence. We have High unemployment. We have out of control government spending. We have redundant state and federal government beauracracy. We have a stock market that is on pins and needles because of fear of what this administration is proposing. We have a depressed housing market.

And the solution is to spend more money on programs we cant afford.

Only an idealogue would support such loooonacy. An idealogue, or a crippled and dependent pet invested in Uncle Sammy taking care of them. The video fits.

I also know that you are not a stupdi person and know as well as I do that once the pass SOMETHING...ANYTHING...that that is just the beginning. The goal is to get there and to be truthful...I believe that one way or the other...by hook or by crook...they will get there.

Please any of you retired military guys or girls regardless of your politics read my OP...This is really serious and Obama is really going to stick it to us if his socialist Obama Care is aprroved......You will lose your Medicare and the premiums for your TRICARE will sky rocket if you even get it.......We were promised free medical care for life if we made the Military a career....they have already taken that away from us and are now threatening to take TRICARE away........

Most likely if a universal heath care system is ultimately implemented then the Tricare and VA system (like medicare/medicaid) will simply go away. There has been talk about possible compensation, tax exemption, but dont hold your breath. Ultimately, they will do whatever they do.

I dont know...maybe you havent seen my comments...I am NOT opposed to health care...Im opposed to giving the federal government a blank check and responsibility to manage healthcare...especially as they have done such a DISMAL job of running EVERYTHING they have been responsible for running. Im opposed to a 13.5 trillion dollar national debt and climbing. Im opposed to orchestrated bribery of government officials BY government officials. Im opposed to a 'health care bill' with hundreds of billions of dollars of non health care related garbage...more proof that the fed cant be trusted.

State run? sure...great idea. Apparently places like Hawaii do it successfully and without a glut of federal dollars. But federally run universally healthcare? Yep...you'd have to be on the crack pipe to think thats a GOOD IDEA.
