75% Are Angry At Government?s Current Policies - Rasmussen Reports

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 75% of likely voters now say they are at least somewhat angry at the government’s current policies, up four points from late November and up nine points since September. The overall figures include 45% who are Very Angry, also a nine-point increase since September.

Once again Navy......you didn't read past the headline. You really need to READ the article before you post.

This has got to be about he 10th time this weak that you've posted something that says basically opposite of what you contend that it says. The solution is simple. Read beyond the first line.

The news is not a sweet for you and your Republican party as you try to claim.....sorry:

"Part of the frustration is likely due to the belief of 60% of voters that neither Republican political leaders nor Democratic political leaders have a good understanding of what is needed today"
:doh:doh: again :doh:doh

In his defense, I don't see where he is defending Republicans. Just because he mentioned Obama doesn't mean he was reading the article wrong.

75% includes all political ideologies.;)

Well - no one's ever been thrilled with the government, honestly.

So 75%, 100% - 50% - doesn't matter, no one likes the gubermint.

You would have to know Navy Pride....and absolutely he does. He is implying that it is bad news for the Democrats and good news for his Republican party.
He never reads past the headline, so he doesn't see what the article really says.

Okay, well, being new I guess that's my bad. It just sounded unfair. Sorry.

The problem with your scenario is the Republicans have no power,,you control everything......The people know that......There will be huge changes in November and your left wingers will be out on their ass.........I can't wait........

You need to read your own article (past the first line)....

I know that you Republicans are hoping for big changes...the reality is that most Americans may be unhappy, but they don't see you Republicans as their savior anymore than they see Democrats as able to solve their problems.

Massachusetts. :lamo

If the two parties are not going to work together, it only hurts us...we the people.

We don't need government run health care right now. I believe we need to see less unemployed folks. This should be the number one priority between the parties.

They can duke it out over the health care and Cap & Trade later. Hopefully with Obama's tax cuts, we will see a little relief. My emphasis is on the word "little".

What tax cuts?

The tax cuts for small business. The $5,000 he promised at his state of the union address.

That is a do nothing tax incentive..... a whole different animal from a tax cut. Of course when the Bush tax cuts expire, we will get a tax increase from Barry.

Ps. How are all of those promises he has made working out for you?

Hey, I am not an Obama fan. I am just optimistic that somethings going to give. We'll see if anything changes after the elections this year.

As far as I am concerned, the stimulus money for our state is being wasted on too many pet projects....art for an example.

Oregon here, and same story, only now that they got the tax increase they need more, so Portland is going to use the funds that run and maintain the city's sewer system for, are you ready for this?

And if that happens in November, 75% of the people will still be angry at the government.

Will 71% still think Palin is not qualified for the Presidency?

Hey NAVY,

How does this part help Republicans:

"Part of the frustration is likely due to the belief of 60% of voters that neither Republican political leaders nor Democratic political leaders have a good understanding of what is needed today. That finding is identical to the view last September, just after the tumultuous congressional town hall meetings the month before. But only 52% felt this way in November.

Americans are united in the belief “that the political system is broken, that most politicians are corrupt, and that neither major political party has the answers,"

If you can that is. If you can't answer that due to the massive partisan blinders you got on, just say so.

You ever hear of New Jersey, Virginia or Mass. Three states that went to your daddy Obama that Ewpublicans won in and that is just the beginning my left wing friend.........

Jan 2001 thru Jan 2009:

"I don't like what the government is doing."

"Why do you hate America?!?"

+++

Jan 2009 thru now:

"I don't like what the government is doing."

"Right on bro, join the other Americans that disapprove!"

from the OP:

Americans are united in the belief “that the political system is broken, that most politicians are corrupt, and that neither major political party has the answers,”

Now, why would that be?

Maybe it's the 40 grand plus that they have put on our credit cards.

That's 40 grand each.

And it includes kids who are too young to even have a credit card, along with people who will never, in all of their lives, earn that much money.

How are wed going to pay for it?

damn near anyone you ask (75% it turns out) will be angry at SOMETHING the government is doing.

You, NP, you're mad about "Obamacare" being a socialist nightmare.
Me, I'm mad at how far to right the bill has shifted.
Billy is mad about a perceived threat to his gun rights.
Jim is mad about the deficit.
Mary is mad about DADT possibly being repealed
Jerry is mad because DADT hasn't been repealed YET.

Everyone is "angry" about something. This poll is incredibly unscientific.
