So this is our brilliant Harvard educated man whose education and sophistication is such a breath of fresh air compared to the

Obama pronouced corpsman as "corpseman" twice within the same speech. That's not a slip; that's your president not knowing how to pronounce an everyday word, albeit a military word, which might just explain it right there.

No big deal, you say? Well, harken back to the endless rants about Bush and his "nuc-u-lar" and "tourist attack" mispronunciations - which I dogpiled on, too, because it was funny - and ask yourself, why so little is made by the left of Obama's absolute dependence on teleprompters and his obvious lack of basic high school knowledge of history and economics.

I'm just sayin'.

this is not breaking news.

This is as silly as the thread on Michelle Obama's shoes.

He really should know the correct pronunciation.

No, you're not "just sayin". This is a perfect example of hyper-partisan nitpicking. It's typical of people who cannot debate topics or provide any meaningful insight into anything on a message board.

I watched people do the exact same thing to Bush for 8 years. It was childish and silly then, it's childish and silly now.

I would agree if I didn't have to constantly hear how refreshingly sophisticated and NUANCED Obama is from the left all the time.

I wonder how he'd pronouce other military terms, like sword or lieutenant.

He's really talking about the coming zombie apocalypse.

It looks like you answered your own question. He wasn't in the military. I don't know how to pronounce the word.

You don't hear that from the left. You hear it from the right-wing pundits you listen to.

Fact is, the media portrayed bush as a moron, its still repeated today. I don't think Obama is a moron, however, given his gaffes I think his intelligence is equal to bush or within the same ballpark....

Did you miss the OP? The word is indeed pronounced Kor z man.... not as Barry did, Korps man.

I mean really, did Barry think they were dead?

The left widely used Bush's pronunciation of "nuclear" as evidence of substandard intelligence. Let's see what they have to say about the chosen one.

"He got into Harvard so he has to be smart..." oh, wait. That too.

I think some portrayed him as a moron, but it was not widespread. He frequently got credit for putting together a strong team, for having a down home type intelligence.

Further, the argument that since some one else was an asshole, so it's ok when our guys are assholes is getting old. Past behavior does not excuse current behavior.

Sure it does..... you guys were assholes for 8 years, we still have 7 to go before we are even, live with it.

That's nonsense. All we heard the entire campaign was how "deep" Obama was and how he could see issues in a more "nuanced" and "sophisticated" manner, as opposed to Bush's black and white simpleton way.

I'm telling you, Obama is vastly undereducated. He lacks basic education, particularly history (I don't trust politicians who don't know their history); he's only well-read in the ideologies he espouses.
