Fred Phelps and his minions attempted to pull his "God hates fags" routine in San Francisco. What happened to his entourage is absolutely hilarious. You can read about it here.

That was fantastic! Of course, nothing is more absurd than the Phelps clan, so their absurdity makes the counter protesters look like amateurs by comparison.:2razz:

Okay I have a question. I got the humorous signs, but some of the Phelps clan's signs didn't make sense.

I just don't question the stupidity of some of the signs. Just laugh and go I wish I was there to laugh in person.
 
If there is one thing I have seen on this forum that brings everybody together, it is the universal ridicule and disdain for the Phelps clan. It brings much happiness to my heart.

I think her bitch sign, which looks like to be about abortion, should just have her face on it. Like seriously these people can not believe what they say and protest about. If they do, then they must have the world's best drugs and should share them with me. I won't use them, but I am sure some of the million college kids in Boston would and I could certainly use the money.

I think I'm gonna go to their next rally and hold up a sign that says "Please explain your signs."
 
They should do this everywhere WBC shows up.

Have 2x as many people as WBC and shouting louder. Provoke these douche bags and when they get physical make sure they can only protests with the aid of Heathen-invented machines.

Good for you. And I agree with you. I'm no longer a Southern Baptist, but I was raised that way. Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Revivals, Prayer Meetings, the works. And I NEVER saw anything like the behavior I see from that Plainsboro church. They're a whole different species.
 
Although this is funny, I think it's counter-productive to some extent. The Phelps clan thrives off of publicity. By counter-protesting them, you're actually giving them exactly what they want. Basically, they're real life trolls and they feel validated when they receive attention, whether it's negative or positive.

If you really want to put these worthless scumbags in their place, then ignore them completely.

If Phelps and his bunch attempt to get physical at all, they might be making the mistake of their lives. Let me tell you a true story. I wasn't always accepting of gays. In my younger days, I used to make fun of homosexuals, not in the having fun way with gay friends I do now, but seriously making fun of them. When I was still living in Michigan, I was walking down Michigan Avenue in Detroit with several friends. We passed a place called the Gaiety Theatre, which was a gay hangout. We started taunting the gays that were hanging around outside. The result? About a dozen gays chased us with knives all the way to the Michigan Avenue police substation.

There are many gays in this world that you should think twice before messing with. The drummer in one of the bands I played for was one of those. I saw him knock someone out for trying to start a fight with him because he was gay. The butthead was taunting the crap out of him for about half an hour, while we were playing a club. As soon as we ended that set, he leaped off the stage, walked up to him, and knocked him out cold. To make matters worse, the butthead was barred from the club, after he came to. I can only hope that, one day, Fred Phelps shows up to one of my gigs with one of his signs, and that drummer is sitting in with us. LMAO.

As I indicated on the now defunct WS website, if my nephew would have come back from Iraq in a body bag and I knew these scumbags were going to protest at the funeral, I guarantee you all us attendees would have had baseball bats even if I had to go out and buy them. I'm not a violent person but I would have taken glee in cracking some heads in this case.
