NY Pols stunned to learn Obama Administration opposes funding for 9/11 health bill

I knew PBO was going to freeze spending on the wrong things.

The Obama administration stunned New York's delegation Thursday, dropping the bombshell news that it does not support funding the 9/11 health bill.

The state's two senators and 14 House members met with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius just hours before President Obama implored in his speech to the nation for Congress to come together and deliver a government that delivers on its promises to the American people.

Oh, you know you tottally misread him, it's obviously not apdst laughing his ass off at the Obamination pushing to end this and his stunned little underling in the House and Senate in total shock... oh and the hypocrisy of the one...

Nope, Apdst is really inconsolible that a Tax Funded Healthcare that should be a model for America is being phased out...

I think even Bush promised this sort of support. Would you support ending VA support for our troops? I mean the fire fighters and rescue workers put their lives on the line too.

At the time I worked investigating environmental problems at properties being sold. I couldn''t beleive my eyes the way everybody was at the site without any protective clothing or gear. I wrote Mary Landrieu who is our senator and told her my fears. First of all, it wasn't a rescue days later. I told her everybody has to have respiratory protection. And I noted that air studies couldn't be true.

She wrote me back. There are thousands of people like me who know all this stuff and I assumed that it would stop and workers would be forced to use protection.

Of course the workers all started getting respiotory problelms. The EPA is in charge of this stuff and the local DEQs. Oh well, it's just hard to imagine this could happen. The EPA is supposed to protect workers. Every city has emergency response companies who are called for this stuff.

This is great news. Hopefully all health care for all public servants will be eliminated. Starting with politicians. Why should government workers get free health care? We have health insurance companies, don't they deserve to make a profit?

Oh wait?! Are you one of those "selective fiscal conservatives"?
