Yep, got to worry about all those "grandma's" out there. I will take your answer as a typical non answer, there is absolutely nothing Obama has done to make things better and instead has made things worse. I can see why you still support him.

Is there a point in your comments. Just goes to show there are already healthcare programs available to people that are already funded by taxpayer dollars thus we do not need the POS healthcare bill in Congress

If you are on disability and looking for a job, call "your" President for isn't that what you voted for? A President to save you from yourself?
 
My point is that most Texans do want government ran healthcare. Hell they enroll, more people every month in Texas. My dad is pretty Conservative, and he thinks Medicare is a great idea, and would gladly pay for it.

No, Most Texans like MOST Americans want what they have paid for. They do not want another entitlement program created. Medicare and Medicaid are paid for by taxes and available to all so why do we need another Govt. run program?

If you work or ever worked did you ever check your checkstub? Get back to me as to how much you are paying for Medicare and SS. Medicaid came out of SS.

I have always said healthcare is an individual responsibility that is better handled at the state and local level, not the Federal Level.

Medicare is for seniors, medicaid is for low income people many of whom are immigrants legal and illegal. All have been paid for by personal withholding.

You apparently are confused as to what you have taken out of your paycheck.

I like the fact a 8,000 tax credit to 1st time home buyers which in the long run will help the economy as well as revenues. I like my new Govt job. I like the far reich Republo-Facists are out of power...

Because Repubs think its okay when they use it or recieve it..For example a Military pension or healthcare at the expense of Joe tax payer is justified in their minds.

You are a perfect example of what wasted taxdollars fund. I would have thought someone who grew up in Iowa would understand personal responsibility. Who paid for that 8000 tax credit for you to buy a home?

Some people haven't a clue as to where money for govt. jobs come from.

People sign up for it because they paid for it. Govt. extracts it from your paycheck so when you get to age 65 just like with SS you deserve to get your money back.

Yep, that too, but you still don't get it. Workers are forced to pay for Medicare just like SS so when they are entitled to it they have every right to take it. That doesn't mean they support govt. run healthcare.
