Gasoline prices zip toward $3 mark

Of course they do. So does volcanic activity, plate tectonics and ocean currents. There are lots of things that affect earths climate. Man just might be one of them.

Man puts out a very small part. We have very little effect on climate.

Global Warming: A closer look at the numbers

Human activites contribute slightly to greenhouse gas concentrations through farming, manufacturing, power generation, and transportation. However, these emissions are so dwarfed in comparison to emissions from natural sources we can do nothing about, that even the most costly efforts to limit human emissions would have a very small-- perhaps undetectable-- effect on global climate.

So you admit that man does have an effect on climate no matter how small.
That's a start. Baby steps.

Can you also admit that greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere have increased?

"Since pre-industrial times, the atmospheric concentration of greenhouse gases has grown significantly. Carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration has increased by about 31%, methane concentration by about 150%, and nitrous oxide concentration by about 16% (Watson et al 2001). The present level of carbon dioxide concentration (around 375 parts per million) is the highest for 420,000 years, and probably the highest for the past 20 million years."

It is so small it is not even noticeable. That is why cap and trade does nothing to affect greenhouse gases.

Cut pollution yes but do it in a way that does not hurt the economy. Now is not the time for more economic burdens.

I agree they are going about it the worst way. That does not mean I don't think man is affecting the environment. Most people that aknowledge man-made climate change do not support cap and trade. They do support conservation, cleaner energy and new technology.

The problem is this. If all manmade greenhouse gas was gone how much would the temp change?
