Sarah Palin to Contribute to Fox News

No I never attended grade school, high school or college. I was raised by a pack of wolves and the pack taught me all I needed to know

Thanks for clarifying that. I agree that is where you got your education.

Palin is a good stand-up comedian, I can't wait to watch her on Faux! ;)

And your in depth analysis of people's sarcasm is duly noted.

Actually since you have never been wrong in any of your claims I thought for sure you wouldn't be wrong in your statement of your educational background. Therefore since you now state that was sarcasm I guess that would make all your other claims sarcasm as well.

It doesn't take much to prove he lied. Those vids provide sufficient proof.
Ball's in your court. But, you probably won't take Bush's own words to prove he lied. :doh

Bush admits putting on a NASA space suit and flying to Iran in the SR-22 Blackbird???

That I'd like to see.. where is this famous admission that no one but you knows about !!!

Well that was a lame come back. Can't you do better?

Get back with me after you take a civics course and let me know if the role of the Federal Govt. as it was created was more like that of Ronald Reagan's, GHW Bush, Clinton, GW Bush, or Obama.

I believe then you will find that you and your family are totally and completely wrong.

Iran-Contra Affair

Wow, now there is an action that affected the economic problems Reagan inherited in this country. Great find, :rofl

What does that have to do with the Reagan economic plan and growth that it generated. Looks like a bunch of people jumping in who weren't old enough to even know what was going on when Reagan took office.

I;m old enough to know that economic success was overshadowed by a monstrosity of foreign affairs blunders. :2wave:

Looks like you are one of them. Reagans first term sucked as bad as Carters. Reagan raised taxes as much as he cut them, Reagan increased government spending, Reagan dealt with terrorists, Reagan's second term was followed by a recession that Bush Sr had to deal with.
You might want to find a new hero to worship. Reagan made a mess of things.
I know you will blame the bad things on congress and the good things on Reagan, but the truth is we had a few good years under Reagan just like we had a few good years under Clinton. Reagan was no saviour like some of you make him out to be.

Reagan also bombed Libya, put the "war" in War on Drugs, allowed the continuation of Selective Service registration (despite his campaign promise to end it), helped the Khmer Rouge terrorize Thailand, imposed brutal trade sanctions on Nicaragua, funded the murderous brutal Contras, sold missiles to Iran, gave assistance to Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden, vetoed sanctions on the African National Party and lied to the American people.

That he did all these things in the name of "freedom," "capitalism," "small government," and "liberty" renders his legacy, in my opinion, all the more insidious. If bad Reaganesque policies continue to have a pass because of their superficial rhetorical selling points, American liberty will have suffered, not strengthened, because of him.

Obviously not because the collapse of the Soviet Union occurred during the Reagan years and that led to a peace dividend in the 90's. Your idea of foreign policy blunders doesn't jive with actual results.

Read some of his foreign policy mate.

Please start a Reagan thread because I would love to educate you. For someone who claims to be 56 you certainly have a distorted view of what went on during the 80's and for someone who claimes to have voted for Reagan you obviously don't know who you voted for and what he actually accomplished.

This thread has gone way off on a tangent which of course makes for a great diversion for what is going on today.

And yet today he is one of the most admired President and revered by the majority in this country. Someone has a distorted view of what he did, probably you.

ill make a ronald reagan thread for ya

"Blunders" like winning the Cold War and the tearing down of the Berlin Wall???

You mean like Reagan ending the Cold War? Now there is a foreign affairs blunder if I ever saw one.

Granted, he had some great PR people behind his image. And, just like the way you guys repeat ad nauseum revisionist history portraying Bush as a national security president over and over and over - people start to believe things they hear repeated so often. You know, like those silly tv ads. So, lies about reagan have been ongoing since he left office. And they continue today... still ignoring all the facts of what really happened.
