Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Gir

Re: Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

I'm "Roger" and I agree with the OP.
We should look at this from the position of the child.
The cop attacked her, she as a human being, fought back. I would do the same.
Children should be disciplined, not coddled.
How many parents even know what discipline is??[/QUOTE]

ROFL the cop attacked her?

Im sorry the police officer was doing his job. Now are you going to tell me that if a police officer attempts to physically intervene to stop a man from beating the **** out of another man the police officer ATTACKED the other man instead?

I don't think so.

You people make me sick with all of your crybaby making excuses for people who are acting like god damned fools.

Re: Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

So, he gets hit in the balls by someone half his size and he needs to resort to tasing? I'd say he needs to quit eating so many donuts and get his sorry ass to the gym on his 7 days off. :rofl

Provide evidence that he is extremely overweight, eats donuts, and needs to workout.

Otherwise your just an arrogant fool.

She is a human being, not some piece of trash..
No wonder we have these problems if this is the way people "think".
The "mother" has serious problems, as do the police.
Are there any cooler more intelligent heads available??

The "child" has the most serious problems of all.

Re: Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

The "law" seems to have very little intelligence as well.
I pity this girl, being treated so badly by society; she may end up in prison at the age of 20 and the dumbos will wonder why.

Now your going to blame everyone else on the fact that her ****ty attitude and thinking she is special because she has a disorder and can thus get away with whatever she wants will land her in prison?

Do you get out and actually meet the fine citizens of your city? I suggest you do a ride along and see the type of ignorant people live around you.

You need a reality check on the way people think.

Re: Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

If parents knew how to discipline and punish, they would have no fear of any so-called liberal counts. And I am glad that our courts are not "conservative"..

Alot of criticism coming from you about parenting and enforcing laws and such.

So genious...... what is the proper way to discipline an out of control child?

:rofl I can't wait to hear this.....

Re: Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

Weren't you the one who said we should give a cop shooting a man in the back time? He tases some retarded little girl and it went too far? You're a walking contradiction.

What are you trying to say?

Re: Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

1. The cop needs to lose his job. 10 year-olds DO NOT go to jail... ever! They go to juvevile hall.

2. Tazing a 46 pound child is beyond unacceptable.

3. This is disgusting.

4. Handcuffing a 10 year-old is UNACCEPTABLE.

I hope her father sues the police for all they are worth.

The mother was there the whole time and was complicit in what transpired, I think.

Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

Arkansas mother suggested stun gun treatment for unruly daughter

Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl - November 18, 2009

I think, even as much as she deserved it, this may have gone a bit far.

Parents need to beat their kids...or...just ask Cops to tase them.

Though I think this whole media frenzy over tazing is going to turn into a new scandalous ****storm. Perhaps everyone would rather get hit with a pepperspray paintball.

He was trying to scare her into stopping. Saying you're going to take someone to jail isn't illegal or against any sort of ethical code. People lie to children all the time to get them to respond in an acceptable manner.

2. Tazing a 46 pound child is beyond unacceptable.

Yep.

3. This is disgusting.

Yeah, it's a disgusting example of bad parenting among other things.

4. Handcuffing a 10 year-old is UNACCEPTABLE.

You ever dealt with an off the wall 10 year old? 10 year olds can still hurt or injure adults, especially if they're throwing a fit.

I hope her father sues the police for all they are worth.

Yes, yes, let's just continue to cause more animosity between the police agencies and those they are supposed to be protecting.

My own drums daughter: that is ridiculous that the mom had to call the cops because her child wouldn't go to bed:rolleyes:... come on, can't she handle her kid like a real mother?! But i would tase the kid if she kicked me:eek:!!! Sounds like a total brat!

Myowndrums other daughter: They should put a shock collar on her before she goes to bed. ;)

See, kids know how to handle these things....

Because we always have extra officers around every corner to rush to the defense of an officer having a hard time with a 10 year old.

You apparently don't live in a small town where 1 officer patrols the whole town during dark hours, with about 4 for the whole county.
if a grown man can't control a 10 yr old girl without a taser, he has no business being a cop. period.

Re: Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

kids don't deserve "beatings".

Re: Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

she's 10. the stupid cop deserves to lose his job.

What about the mom who couldn't control the 10 yr old and condoned the tasing?

if a grown man can't control a 10 yr old girl without a taser, he has no business being a cop. period.

You underestimate the ability of a 10 year old!!!!

Seriously though, the tazer may have been a bit much. I blame stupid mom for telling him several times beforehand that he should taze the kid. And I blame the cops parents for creating this man who was ignorant enough to think that its okay if the kid's mom says so.

But I don't see you placing any blame on the mother of the child or anything. Seriously who the **** calls the police because a bratty 10 year old won't go to sleep.

I think this is true, and I'm sure he could have taken her in a fight. The question is, which is more dangerous to the girl? He could grab her arms and wrestle them behind her back to handcuff her, or he could use the taser. I haven't heard any reason to think that using the taser harmed the girl in any way. Unless there is some risk I don't know about I think he used the safer alternative. And it was certainly safer for himself, which is even more important.

Good point, and I don't know how many times I have discussed this the majority of the general public just doesn't understand how many injuries the tazer has prevented.

A tazer is an excellent tool to obtain compliance with someone without having to use physical force, which very commonly results in injury.

Yes, there are tazer deaths, and they are investigated. The majority of tazer deaths result when either the tazer is used too many times consecutively on a subject (bad bad police man!) or when the subject is on many drugs and the strains already on their heart and increased by the use of the tazer (OMG Those police are supposed to already know what level of drugs are in someone right?!?!? ...stupid public).

In the long run, zapping someone with a tazer (i like the drive stun where you pull off the projectile end and just zap em for a second like an old "stun gun") usually guarantees that they will comply and you will be capable of getting them secured.

Of course, our general public will continue to talk about tazers like they know what the **** they are talking about.

of course the mother is a moron as well. that's a given.

i find it hard to believe the girl could actually injure him. a little psychology could have gone a long here........

Ever had kids? Ever babysat kids? If you answred yes to those, tell me honestly, have you ever had or babysat an unruly child that throws a hissy fit over bedtime or a candy bar?

I have a nice scar on my shoulder from a 9 year old who threw a tantrum over a piece of playground equipment and stabbed me with a pencil.

Psychology?

WTF do you think cops are, all medical professionals rolled into one person?

She has a mental disorder, what type of psychology would you suggest would work here that mom didn't already try and the officer didn't already try with her prior to her kicking him in the balls.

This is my problem with "the public" when it comes to them making comments on the action of an officer, and part of the reason I put little weight into what "the public" says. "The public" over simplifies an incident by thinking that things and people act according to exact rules, as they might have reacted themselves.
