Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Gir

I thought we were discussing the use of the taser not "parenting"?

Don't change the subject on me, its dishonest debating. :2wave:

I believe agreeing to get your child tasered has a link to parenting.

Would you allow such a thing to happen to your child?

Of course not. Assuming she doesnt kick your ass :)

Im sorry, this would have been my response to the call after attempting to talk her down and getting no results.

I have little patience for parents who believed 911 is the phone-a-uniformed-parent hotline.

Yeah, that's probably what I would have done too, especially given what liability and lawsuits are like these days.

Either that or called my Sgt or LT and "passed the buck". Hey, that's why they get paid the big money...

But her parenting skills have no place in a discussion about whether the use of the taser was justified (note I did not say appropriate).

Anyhow, I have to go to work, I'll try not to taze any 10 year old kids while im there.

The mother and the cop thought it was necessary to prevent the girl from harming herself or someone else. Two ignoramuses on the internet think they know better. Which one am I going to listen to? Not you.

You cannot reason with someone on this topic who lacks any sense of moral dignity. Your inability to also see how easily capable the officer could have been to create an alternative approach to handling the situation is another fault of yours.

And stop trollin'

*unsub'd*

Re: Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

Just because a child has some degree of mental disorder does not mean that some level of discipline and order cannot be kept, unless the mental disorder is extremely severe.

Even children with severe mental retardation can be operantly conditioned to behave appropriately; it just takes a little time and effort.

The mother and the cop were both wrong. The mother needs to go to jail for neglect; the officer needs to lose his badge and serve 3 to 5 years in general population.

and a little shock therapy.

>:D

I think the cop should've tased the mom for wasting police time by calling the cops just because her stupid kid was whining. Get a life lady and do your own job as a parent.

Though if the kid's such a brat that she kicked the officer in the groin, I don't have that much sympathy for her. This is one time where I think a good paddling would've been in order. But do it yourself lady.

Re: Cop Tases 10-Year-Old Girl

Yes, lets continue to coddle violent kids so they grow up to rob weak beings like you in 10 years.

People with ideology on child raising like YOU is the reason why we are in the mess of gang violence and thuggery in the first god damned place.

Because a 10 year old girl in nowheresville Arkansas and gang members in California live under the exact same social conditions leading to criminal paths. Your comparison is a huge failure.

ER, nowheresville in Arkansas is most likely riddled with Meth labs, unemployment, and semi-literacy so your put down of the comparison is off the mark.

Yeah okay - how many 10 year olds are running those meth labs? What's that I hear? Crickets?

that just went too far, if the mother had left the room and ignored the kid for a while she would've got hungry and stop screaming.

and that expirience has potential for psychological harm for the daughter, who has been taught police are there to help and protect and then one electrocutes her

No, it's the sound of your ridiculous compasion failing miserably.

He's right. It's Arkansas, not Beverly Hills.

He wasn't saying SHE was running methlabs -- only that such things are common out there in booneyland.

Lack of Parenting Skill + Weakened "soft" juvenile justice system = 15 year olds comitting armed robbery because the gang heads know they won't serve time or any "real" punishment.

LOL.

Short sightedness is another problem.

Lets not act like she will stay 10 forever.

Next year she will be 11.

And in 7 years she will be pregnant and a meth addict the way she is headed now.

LOL

I see you retract your statement sir.

And ya don't want to blunder into anyone's pot growing operation either. Could be bad for ones health. :(

More likely in 3 or 4 years based on her impulsive and out of control behavior she already exhibited. :doh

You do not have the expertise or the knowledge of the case to make that assumption.

Regardless, tazing her is unacceptable.
