Palin's book goes rouge on some facts

Your analysis and comparison are a little off Jall.....

No, it is not. It is spot on but I am sure the rest of that babble convinced you that it is a perfectly acceptable double standard to apply. But you already thought that anyway.

Your analysis and comparison are a little off Jall.....The POTUS is essentially a popularity contest with the "winner" picked by the voters. Law Review is not an elected position. You only get into law review with stellar grades or can "write on" if you are selected by the staff. I'm not sure about Obama's credentials, but it is quite possible to get elected POTUS with less than stellar grades...highly unlikely to get on law review with a marginal performance.

Until the 1970's the editors were picked on the basis of grades, and the president of the Law Review was the student with the highest academic rank. Among these were Elliot L. Richardson, the former Attorney General, and Irwin Griswold, a dean of the Harvard Law School and Solicitor General under Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon.

That system came under attack in the 1970's and was replaced by a program in which about half the editors are chosen for their grades and the other half are chosen by fellow students after a special writing competition. The new system, disputed when it began, was meant to help insure that minority students became editors of The Law Review.

Again... why hide your grades if they were so stellar?

Why do you care? What difference could it possibly make in relation to your loopy obsession about his birthplace?

Are you memory challenged?... blind?

I'm a dualer, I don't care where he was born..... look at my sig.

Whatever, dude. You're a birffer if you give the slightest crap about where the man was born and to whom.

Also, I choose not to view avatars or signatures.

Still no discussion of these "facts" that Palin went "rogue" on?

I'll check back in a few days.......

And you are nothing but a troll.

It's not gonna change. Why have a discussion when you can scream "I Hate Palin" and it's accepted as discourse among that type?

That's not entirely fair. If he wasn't a natural citizen, then I would hold to the value of the Constitution and say he is not eligible to be president.

However, at this time, I have seen no evidence that he is ineligible so it's a non-issue to me.

Here comes the proof that isn't really proof unless you interpret it to mean what you want it to mean.

Dualers are embarrassed birthirs. They are both still nuts though.

I can show 6 Supreme court cases that define Natural Born Citizen as being born on US soil to two (2) US citizen parents.

I can show numerous quotes from the authors of the constitution that define it the same way, and the reason why they wrote it that way. (we fought two wars to rid ourselves of foreign influence in our government, why would we want a foreigner to be our President?)

I can show numerous quotes from government officials last year that define it the same way.

Maybe you need to look for the evidence before you ignore the issue.

“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”

Fact.... Barry was a dual English / American citizen at birth.

You know me so well..... and I know you so well, care to put your rep where your mouth is?

Didn't think so.... funny how you can't back up your opinions, but being a lib, that is normal.

The invitation still stands, I'll debate you any time.... but that would require you to actually present some facts to back up your opinion, wouldn't it…. And we all know that isn’t going to happen.

At the time Barry went to Harvard, they appointed the president of law review by grade, or student vote..... my guess is Barry had really good weed, shared it, and got voted in.... why else would he hide his transcripts?.... why else is it that he never published anything while at Harvard......... nothing.
well, which is it? vote or grades?

How is it "spot on" when one is elected by a vote, the other is selected by grades and/or a writing sample by the staff of the law review?

Oh come on...you know as well as I do that connections have a lot to do with academic type appointments.

Sure....but how does that equate to electing a POTUS?

I'm not doing this with you today. I have no intention of indulging your obtuse crap today.

You know full well what the similarities and contrasts in what I was saying were. You're playing stupid because it is a point made against all this defense of Obamatard.

Not at all Jall.....If you look back to my post from Yesterday...I said that I don't know Obama's credentials for being on law review. The only thing that I was commenting on what your analogy....which I still believe was not a valid comparison.

It'll be at least as truthful as anything your messiah wrote.

Is anyone on the left using that term Messiah for Obama? Honestly I'm only hearing it from right wing pundits and those you don't like him.

Can you give examples of a lack of truthfulness in his book? Or did you even read it?

Obama graduated Magna Cum Laude. I don't think grades are an issue with him. ;)

As far as Palin we have no idea if she flunked out of at least some of those colleges she transferred to. What was it five or six?
