58% Say Next President Likely To Be Republican

The next election will be focused on his massive incompetence and dithering... and that we've seen after 10-months.

Cap, Tax and spend.
The attempt at Socialist Care.
Government Motors.
Trillions wasted.
Tax increases.

LOL...

Yes... he's an economic genius.

Next time round, this guy will have to defend his actions. If we have a decent candidate, someone who will drag the press to the s**t pile Obama has made, and put their noses in it like a puppy... so they ask a few questions on par with Joe the Plumber... Obama will get his ass kicked.

By then the race card BS may have worn irritatingly thin. As you know... he and his chumps like to play it.

.

Thats the problem....your party is void of good candidates. The only decent candidate you have is Romney...and good luck getting the right-wing fanatics to vote for a Mormon.

Bottom line - barring any international disaster, the next race will be 100% dependent on the economy. If the economy rebounds (which it looks like it will)....the race won't even be close.

Both of you are fools.

The next election will largely be determined by the economy at that time as virtually all presidential elections are. No one can reasonably judge what next year will be much less 2012. To declare that Obama will lose/win with that basic piece of knowledge is pretty insane if not exceedingly arrogant.

What did I say? :doh

The next election will largely be determine by the economy. If the economy is going well, Obama is likely to win. If it isn't he will be voted out.

Comon dude... the way Obama's screwing up, Republicans could put a squirrel named Bob on the ballot and have a shot at getting the first hibernating mammal in the Oval office without too much issue. Obama won because he's charismatic - but now people see him promise everything and deliver next to nothing while extending Bush's policies and increasing the government take over & debt.

Bob the squirrel's got the best shot so far.

Problem is, Obama is not screwing up, it's only rightwing propaganda and wishful thinking that insists he is. He's letting Congress decide on health care, he's repairing America's reputation overseas, and he's taken responsibility for two wars, which Bush never did. As long as Republicans live in Dreamland and take their orders from Rush and Glenn Beck, we may never have another Republican president. The country just wouldn't trust him.

Clearly, if Obama actually starts to do something - the eventuality of his exit could be changed. Thank you Captain Obvious for pointing out no one can accurately predict the future. I'll stand by my arrogance - it's got some historical context you see and history has a way of repeating itself.

It would be foolish to assume that Obama does not have his hands in the debate over health care reform. He just needed the perception that he was far less involved and invested in it as Bill Clinton was.

He may or may not be repairing the reputation of the United States. Diplomacy is useful, but only useful if it works. There is still considerable obstacles the United States faces diplomatically that may never be faced simply by virtue of the United States' power, irregardless of whether or not it is aware or even uses its weight. Furthermore, repairing reputation is not the same thing as accomplishing Obama's view of the American interest. An example would be with securing the cooperation of Russia and China with any sanctions it imposes upon Iran, which is at the moment, contrary to Russia's economic and spherical agenda. The Russians have not, thus far, given the United States much if any satisfaction in the knowledge that it could depend upon them to secure their aims.

Bush has taken a great deal of responsibility for the two wars. In fact, he had made several indicative statements that his actions would be judged by posterity for generations to come, and he staked his reputation on his calls.

The Republican Party does not take its orders from Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh so much as it continually searches the body politic for a rising demand in certain policy measures. Republicans will come to power again for the foreseeable future. What they need to do as of yet is build a coherent policy platform and become perceived as the party with ideas.

Likely is a big word.

IF the economy is "good", Romney won't fare well against Obama. Mitt is a one trick pony and has shown reluctance to learn new tricks. That is the problem with some successful people, they think they know everything or that their success in one area means intellect in other areas.

Obama should have appointed him to his cabinet to help show that he can cross party lines, but the danger is obvious. If Romney is any part of a successful economic recovery, it might seem that he was more responsible for it than Obama.

I say it depends on the situation 2 years from now. And I suspect that JOBS will still be a major issue, if not THE issue...
and as was stated, Mitt is a Mormon.
The nation, it appears, would rather have a former Muslim than a current Mormon..

Krauthammer makes the very easy case why Obama will get beat.

In short... Obama is a one-off freak.

The Dems have played their last card... what do they have left? What will they do next? Run a real clown?

.

Name one electable Republican for 2012.

You wish....Obama will win easily against anything that the GOP has to offer.

IF The Dem's pass Cap and Trade and the Healthcare Bill...

You'll be lucky to have enough votes to stop a veto proof Republican Majority.

I doubt that. The vast majority of the American people support healthcare reform and the vast majority of them want a public option included in that plan.

The only thing the next election is going to depend on is the state of the economy. If the economy picks up in the next year or two, the Republican party is in big trouble. I think they know that....which is why they have become the "Party of no minus one".

Palin.

You folks freak about her and try to destroy her because she is a serious threat.

She's a straight forward no nonsense woman that has actually done something with her life. Actually had jobs and was in positions of leadership.

She doesn't run away from her friends and relationships as Thuggo Edsel Obama has. She has no terror ties oand wasn't mentored by a raving Marxist Racist lunatic. And... be sure, Thuggo Edsel Obama's past is not something off limits for her... she would tie his anti-American behavior directly to his radical past.

She loves this country as it was founded... and has no intention to "remake" America.

I'd love to see her take on the teleprompteur.

Any unbiased poll states otherwise, unless something changed in the last like.........5 minutes.

That will probably be true. With Acorn and other corrupt socialist entities using tax payer money to stuff ballot boxes for him, he should win easily.

Are you kidding? Can't you even tell that Palin is a brainless airhead who would be as useless in the White House as Bush? You know, this is why Democrats consider Republicans to be generally inferior intellectually, because they consider someone like Sarah Palin competent to be president.

Link please!

And I was confident that voters would throw GWB out on his butt in 2004 after that bogus war he started in Iraq. Sorry, but no one can truly predict what is going to happen 3 years from now. If our economy is at the current standstill, I could see Obama getting the boot, unless Palin was the Republican nominee.

Blaaah... blaaah... blaah.

Same BS they said about Reagan.

It's funny how dumb Republicans beat brilliant Democrats consistently, and how dumb Republicans always have to clean up after the college commie types had playtime.

Thuggo Edsel Obama is a freakazoid of politics. The Kool-Aid Candidate.
Yes We Can... ROTFLMFAO...
Let's see how the freak show does in 2012.
How about a wager :)

Riiiiight....because GWB had so much to clean up after he was left a country in prosperity with huge surplusses...at peace and with excellent relationships with its allies.....

Oops.....did you mean how Obama was left to clean up after your hero?

LOL.....

Did the people they polled actually consider who the GOP has out there to offer?

Palin? :doh
Huckabee?:2rofll:
Jindal?:screwy

The only decent candidate the Republicans have is Romney and the right-wing is never going to stomach a mormon candidate.

...And I suppose the Democrats already had their candidate in 2005?

...And I suppose the Democrats already had a candidate in 2005?

Absolutely. Hilary was definitely a strong candidate in 2005 and many expected Obama to be a strong candidate as well. Edwards was also viewed as a strong potential candidate.

Who, other than Romney does the GOP have that stands as a strong candidate. I'd be interested to hear your take.

:2funny::elephantf:rwbelepha:bomb:

By all means Zim.....I'll help you make sure that she gets the nod.

Right... just as we had Dems and Independents ... NY Times all rally for McCain? A RINO.

No chance you folks would do it because you know she is a straight shooting babe.

It was Palin that revived McCain's run... and they tied her hands unfortunately... if she makes a go of it... it will be a joy to watch her tear Thuggo Edsel Obama a new one...

Yes We Can...
Hope.
Change.
Unity.

ROTFLMFAO ... that BS isn't ging to work next time.
Thuggo will actually have to defend his moronic anti-American beliefs.

This is not the man most Americans believed they were getting... and this after a mere 10-months.

It will be funny to ask people in the future... were you one of the Kool-Aid drinkers that voted for Thuggo Edsel Obama...
Reply:  Who? Me? Nooooooooooooooooooooo... I wasn't that stupid...

LOL.
