We have some very safe cities. Safer than Singapore. And we gave up public floggings along with slavery.

Look at the listings here. Singapore is ranked 9th. Out of the 50 cities in the list none of them are USA cities.

OK, so all you managed to do is show us a list of 49 cities, 48 of which don't beat their citizens over minor offenses.

That's not exactly an argument for the necessity of Singapore's brutal predations against its own citizens. :shrug:

For your info with out system we are a first world country with billions of dollars worth of investments from USA. Why would they wanna abandon their home country and invest here?
