Prejean Sex Tape Triggers Settlement

Re: Carrie Prejean - the change of heart

C'mon Jall....no one is saying that she is the "paragon of loose morals".....but when you pretend to be Miss ultra-pure....

I don't recall her saying she was "Mis Ultra-pure". Can you point me to any link or citation of her making comments about abstinence or issues of the like?

No, I didn't think so.

Face it, disney...you took hysterical exception to the answer she gave at the pageant and you went nuts like the rest of your crowd. This is all about tearing apart a young lady who didn't fall in line.

It's the reason we won't have real gay marriage in this country for a long time; you people just don't know when to STFU.

Re: Carrie Prejean - the change of heart

Who said she said anything about masturbation? :rofl Face it, the 'poor girl' ain't no shining example of values to emulate.

You claimed she preached one thing and did another... I'm just asking you to substantiate your assertion. She me the preaching and the hypocrisy as it applies to the sex tape.

When you can't ... and you can't... you're generalized claim will be shown for the nonsense it is. I'm fine with preachers who preach to a flock about being Christian and then are caught snorting blow with a hooker getting strung up by the short & curly's, but I don't think this girl has preached anything, which therefore makes your assertion bupkus.

It was a thumbnail, but i'm still waiting for a legit torrent on the real deal.

To be clear though, I'd hit it like the fist of an angry god.

What no link?

I believe she was probably asked by the media to give her side.

Even the pageant thought she would win.
Yes, she was unfairly blasted by Perez Hilton (even thought she only said the same thing that Obama did).

However she was fired for a legitimate reason (she had posed in topless photo shoots and lied about it on her resume). Her claim that she was "fired because of her religion" is bunk since she had broken the rules of the pageant anyway.

She can alway change when it comes to "family values" or anything else.

I saw nothing wrong with her public speaking, and she's been on TV speaking here and there.
She's been accepting cash to speak at rallies by religious groups (which are against premarital sex), then she's caught not only having kinky premarital sex, but having a friend tape the act (and lies about it in court). Busted.

You libs sure are tight butts when it's not a liberal.
Not a lib, but there's no way to defend hypocrisy like this, even just for the hell of party loyalty.

BTW, what if Carrie had been macking with a hot lesbian instead of just her ex-boyfriend? Would you conservatives still feel the same way?

Apparently we're liberals man.

Jall.....c'mon man.....I still like you......but I think that sometime you go a little overboard in your defense of people like Ms. Prejean.

True...absolutely....I disagreed with her stance on gay marriage...and although I am not familiar with the guy who asked the question, subsequent to the pagent I've seen a little of him and think that he is a little over the top.

That said....I am not villifying her because of her stance. What I found appalling and disgusting were her actions in the weeks following the pagent...beginning with her bad acting crying and making excuses that she lost the pagent because of her answer. Please.....she was so sure in her own mind that she was going to win that she couldn't accept the fact that she lost.
If you watch her answer, taking away the content....it was a horrible performance. That alone should have cost her the pagent.

But even more so....she started projecting herself out there with all the so-called family value groups. True....she never used the term "Miss ultra-pure"...but you cannot deny that this was the image that she was projecting.

True to form....the hypocrite got burned....and I can't apologize for feeling that she got what was due to her.

Not to get too far off topic but...regarding her opinion on gay marriage...I just wonder where we ever starting asking them their opinions in a beauty contest. There is no beauty on the inside...just tissue, bone, and blood.

;)

I don't like Prejean for a variety of reasons, but making a sex tape isn't one of them.:twocents:

I suppose, but I wonder why it took them till after the pageant to discover this. Tsk! Tsk!

Ever hear the quote,"do as I say, not as I do"? Depends on what she's saying at the rallies. Everybody isn't as against premarital sex as some are. She has been hypocritical, but who isn't when they get caught.

Not a lib, but there's no way to defend hypocrisy like this, even just for the hell of party loyalty.

This is true, but gay marriage and pre-marital sex are different. She may just like traditional marriage.

BTW, what if Carrie had been macking with a hot lesbian instead of just her ex-boyfriend? Would you conservatives still feel the same way?

You can be gay and still hold true to your religious beliefs. Lesbian sex isn't marriage. People today do lesbian sex even when they aren't lesbians. It's called experimenting, and people probably always did this. This would be a sin to some religious folks, not to me. All conservatives aren't against gay marriage, some are more economically tuned. The other stuff is neither here nor there.

It seems like the more trouble conservative fundie activists get into, the more popular they become, though.
Many of the most famous and outspoken prolife figures claim to be "former abortive mothers" who now repent of their evil ways.
Then there are all these conservative politicians and evangelical preachers constantly getting caught doing meth, hiring prostitutes, tap-dancing in airport restroom stalls.

The whole basis of fundamentalist Christianity is "Sinning is the human condition, repent and Jesus will forgive you."
As long as their crimes aren't actually violent, public and tearful confession and repentance only seems to add to the popularity of these figures.
I guess their followers, like all of us, enjoy the drama.

Prejean could easily parlay this embarrassing tape into even greater Right-wing popularity.

Oh so you've noticed flip-flopping on both sides of the fence is cool too?
