ELEMENTARY EPIDEMIC: 11 Uncovered Videos Show School Children Performing Praises to O

Re: ELEMENTARY EPIDEMIC: 11 Uncovered Videos Show School Children Performing Praises

Children at Christian extremist camp bowing to a cardboard cutout of George Bush and "praying over it" while declaring themselves "holy warriors".

YouTube- Brain Washing ( Jesus Camp ''Highlights'' )

Ordinarily I'd agree with you about Obama, but my guess is you'll have no problem with the above video and show you have no credibility on the isssue.

The video above is not something I would subject my children to, but it is not a public school, there is a difference.

Not to him there isn't.

So you wouldn't in any way be offended if President Bush was sung about?

This doesn't bother you?

What if it was something like

"Bush signed the Patriot Act
His opponents said that it was whack
But Bush was smart and he was wise
He ignored their many cries. . . ."

I'd think you'd flip the hell out no matter how many "yes we cans" were in there.

I agree that *if* the songs were JUST about encouraging students to do well in school it's no big deal - but our current president shouldn't be honored and revered and sung about. That's not how this country's suppose to work.

I think if the song was praising Bush then most of these libs would have a problem with it and would probably be the ones posting the articles. Especially if those songs praised the Iraq or Afghanistan wars and Bush as a liberator of those people in those countries. Public schools should be as politically neutral as possible.
