If I were Sarah PalinbvI'd give Levi a choice to either shut the hell up or face a law suit for back and future child support and a charge of rape since he was 18 when he became the father of a child by a 17 year old mother. Depending on connect laws in Alaska that is.
Oh yeah, like
that tactic would stand a snowball's chance in hell, after she spent months last year parading him around on national television introducing him as her future son-in-law.
Because we frequently hope that our children will marry rapists, of course.
I'm sure he already
pays whatever child support- if any- is required of him; we would've heard about it already if he didn't.
I don't know what the couple's custody arrangement is, but they may have a joint custody arrangement where neither party pays the other anything; this is frequently the case when parents are both young, actively involved, and have equal earning potential, and when mom's family supports her.
Although it would be amusing to see Palin try to bring "a lawsuit for future child support".
Perhaps you should write her with your suggestion; it sounds like just the sort of thing she'd jump on.
I suspect that Johnston knows plenty; I further suspect that he is not ruthless or aggressive enough to exploit this situation to the fullest and tell all that he knows.
Palin seems to have a
lot of trouble getting along with both her extended family members
and her coworkers, I've noticed.
She doesn't seem to have any problem using her political clout to bulldoze adversaries when disagreements arise.
It will be interesting to see how she reacts now that that weapon has been taken away from her.
