One thing about this thread is that I learned that fish sticks are not necessarily only in the freezer section of your Piggley Whiggely and that there are GAY FISH swimming ot there.

No, unless he absolved them of that responsibility after it leaked out anyway. I can understand that the initial Twitter leak was an honest mistake...but I think it's compounding the mistake if the network later went back and released the clip without consulting Obama. That sort of thing really harms the journalistic integrity of the media, and makes people less likely to say things "off the record."

Not that I see anything wrong with what he said...but his communications staff might think it was embarrassing.

They haveno legal obligationnot to post "off the record" remarks. But I would havethought that they would have kept a moral obligation not to.

Of course as I said earlier Obama should know by now that the media will not hold back on juicy "offthe ecord" remarks especially such a funny one.

What does "hating on Kanye " mean ? Is that something lsuch as someone glaring with contempt or vitriol at another humanoid ? The way that I see it the President was just calling a spade a spade! e.g. he saw what Kanye was behaving like, as jackass, and he called him on it.
