My comment was aimed at those people who were singling out repubs because of "moral concerns" -- as if Dems don't also have moral concerns. So you missed the point.

No one missed the point and it was pointed out. Again any politician who goes after others over moral issues and then does it themselves deserves to be called out as has been pointed out in this thread before you made your own interjection.

Who cares if someone else made a similar point before I did?

It is evident by what you wrote earlier that you missed the point of my post so I clarified it. I'm not going to get into a debate over what is obvious. We seem to share the same view, so who cares?

Lets get to the bottom of your original post. Who specifically were you saying didn't have their head screwed on straight? You came in here saying "You all need to get your heads screwed on straight" From your post you were referring to everyone in the thread.

It was directed at the people saying this should somehow be more hypocritical for a republican than a democrat. I used sarcasm to show how completely stupid that idea was -- that we don't have two parties with different moral views on that issue.

So you were generalizing without knowing who specifically was doing this. I'll ask you again who in this thread are you accussing of not having their head on correctly. So now its sarcasm? So in other words no one in this thread were doing what you said they were. So you said "you all" for no reason. Thanks for the clarification

Pogue - I have no interest in debating what you think I meant. If it makes you feel better to convince yourself that I was "overgeneralizing" and "didn't have a clue what I was talking about," you go right on thinking that.

You strike me as someone who is more interested in arguing for the sake of arguing rather than trying to actually explore issues and ideas, and I have niether the time nor the energy for that.
