So you are saying it's ok to state another's opinions for them without seeking any form of clarification from them, cutting them off from the conversation by trying to advance the conversation without giving them a chance to make their positions clear. Great, let's all move on.

Because they were. Because the woman was simply telling her story. She was not always disabled. She became disabled and her health care expenses are such that she is about to lose her home and become destitute. That's what they were heckling, someone that was disabled and becoming absolutely destitute because of their medical bills. So its kind of relevant.

Well here we go...I don't know if this woman is really disabled or not. I haven't seen any doctor's statements stating that she is. How do I know she's not just faking it to get some sympathy.

Again irrelevant to the actual topic. Once again which part of them shouting down people on their own side did you miss? They didn't just shout this woman down but others who were opposed to health reform because they thought them to be liberal. This isn't a pro-reform anti-reform position but rather people wanting to shout people down and shut down any discussion.

As for the guy who said he was assaulted. For being supposedly kicked and punched in the head I'd say the guy sure heals up well he must be wolverine.

What clarification is needed? Either you think someone is a piece of **** for heckling people in wheelchairs or you don't.

It was apart of the article. Don't you think shouting down disabled people is even more disrespectful? Would you make fun of someone with downs syndrome? The woman had two auto-immune disorders. I'd say its even more disrespectful to do it to a disabled person

No I am saying that its classless and low to heckle people that are in wheelchairs. I am quite amazed that you right wingers would think such a statement was actually controversial.

The fact that you are trying to justify this rather than condemn what any decent individual would consider the lowest of the low is disgusting.

If you are in a wheelchair and about to be destitute due to your medical bills, then you have the right to be heard for 2 fvcking minutes without some pieces of sh*t in the audience heckling you and shouting you down. That's not a controversial statement. It's common decency. If you want to throw yourself in with pieces of **** like that though, well don't let me stop you.

No I am saying that if you are disabled in a wheelchair about about to be destitute due to your medical bills than you ought to have the right to be heard for 2 fvcking minutes in a town hall with out pieces of sh*t heckling you and shouting you down. No one is saying that those that disagree should not be able to respond, just that they ought to not heckle and shout down disabled people in wheel chairs.

I guess I am naive as I would have thought anyone other than Charles Manson would have thought the same thing.
