Cindy appears rested and refreshed, read to further defile her son's memory.

Since President Bush was the focus of Sheehan's wrath, one might have expected that the election of Barack Obama would have sent the nation's most famous agitator into retirement. But Sheehan now plans to transplant her anti-war protests to the new President's Martha's Vineyard retreat. Chances are, though, she'll find herself alone, without her Code Pink retinue of America-haters or her erstwhile media cheerleaders.

I wonder if this protest will include another two day hunger strike?
 
Well, it IS a good point -- the media LOOOOOOVED her when she was camped out in Crawford. Will she get the same amount of screen time in the Vineyard?

(Sub-question -- will former cheerers-on now describe her as a nut?)

I guess she's feeling attention-starved again.

I wonder if the media will turn on her now that she's biting at the ankles of the media's chosen one.

12,000 (?) PATRIOTS show up last weekend in ATL, and all the leftist media can do is argue about how many where there and otherwise ignores it..

A leftist "grieving" Mom just plans a protest and the media is on it like stick on diaper... :doh

Well jeez, Bush did exactly that when he was in office. But I am not going to deflect what Obama is doing by pointing at his predecessor. That would be highly unethical and dishonest. Yes, Obama IS attempting to obfuscate protests from the right, and it is very wrong. The Conservatives need to be raising bloody hell, just as the Liberals did when Bush was doing it. Two wrongs don't make a right. And if Liberals give Obama a pass on this, then they are nothing but hypocrites.

EXACTLY!!!...

Some Republicans (IE: Bush W and McCain) and Democrats (excepting Bluedogs) are progressives... This is a tactic of the progressives and in my mind Progressives are the enemy of liberty.. Not necessarily just the current thugocracy, but a systemic dismantling of the Constitution from both sides of the isle is the culprit here.

I TRULY believe that once this understanding becomes common knowledge THEN we can start to take back our Republic.

I do NOT believe that liberals outside the political arena support progressivism, they have just not been educated in the intent and the subsequent dismantling of the Constitution, as the cause of all that is wrong America today. This is why Liberals hate to be called socialists, because they aren't, they have just been misled by progressive-socialists cleverly disguised as Democrats and Republicans.

The truth WILL set us free... but America has to to take that first step in recognizing the problem, which is the bastardization of or Constitution and Republic by all three branches of an out-of-control, power hungry, self-serving Progressives in our federal government..

Search for the Truth and like GB says.. Question Boldly!

Apparently Liberals have lost the will to do so, since the anointed one has been elected and spend there time defending him instead of questioning his policies as they would have any other Progressive by a different name.

I urge my liberal friends to look behind the curtain and again be the ones who question authority instead of worshiping at the alter of progressivism.

No, but it probably will not be because of the politics behind it. She is old news and has not had a large enough following. I put it this way: had Joe the Plumber had just a bit more media savvy, he would have about as much pull as Cindy. In the end, both are going by the wayside soon enough.

Do people join this place to practice their public speaking skills on the premise that one day they too can be like Joe or Cindy-average people going toe-to-toe with the leaders of this country? I see this type of rallying cry a lot on this forum for some strange reason.

LOL...I was thinking the same thing when I first read this. Still doesn't change the fact that she's just a big ole attention whor* bent on dishonoring the memory of her hero son. She should be ashamed of herself. She makes me want to gag.
