Woman Who Said She Was ‘Just A Mom’ At Town Hall Meeting Is Exposed As A Republican O

Re: Exposed: Republican Operative Lies

Now we have proof of the GOP operatives charge but they will still (of course) torture logic & English & deny fact.

The real agenda is obvious to me:
This has less to do with HC reform dislike & everything to do with anger over losing the election & being out of power.

In my opinion, the Republicans care less about their country than they do about nullifying the will of the people. I believe they really pray for another terrorist attack, economic disaster or anything else to nullify the election of Obama.

These town hall "Beer Putches" have little to do with HC.

Re: Exposed: Republican Operative Lies

These people are disrupting free speech.

OMG... you have NO idea what you're talking about here... The people are not 'disrupting' free speech they are ENGAGING IN IT!!

EVERYBODY hears a politicians speech... but the constitution is about PROTECTING the PEOPLE"S RIGHT TO ENGAGE their politicians as a means of ensuring that our representatives really 'represent' the people's voices... if they are NOT then they DESERVE to get shouted down.

Now we have proof of the GOP operatives charge but they will still (of course) torture logic & English & deny fact.

Explain something to me.... how can 1 operative urge ENTIRE CROWDS at almost 20 venues in just this past week against both democrat and republican congressmen???

The real agenda is obvious to me:
This has less to do with HC reform dislike & everything to do with anger over losing the election & being out of power.

THEN WHY ARE DEMOCRATS SHOUTING POLITICIANS DOWN TOO???

Do you KNOW what socialized health-care IS??? It means, you get an aspirin for a heart attack, it means you wait 6 months to get a tumour removed that could have saved your life within 2 weeks, also it means that if you are 'too old to treat' (over 60) you get to live with your condition or they will end your suffering.

So, the american people voice that they do not want to live under these conditions while having their freedoms remove... and you somehow come up with 'they are sore losers' or 'it's cause they don't like black people'

In my opinion, the Republicans care less about their country than they do about nullifying the will of the people.

The will of 'dear leader' IS NOT necessarily the will of THE PEOPLE...

I believe they really pray for another terrorist attack, economic disaster or anything else to nullify the election of Obama.

Where do you get that idea?? Do you HONESTLY believe that the 60%+ of america (taken from Obama's approuval rating) are wishing for a terrorist attack against this country because they 'don't like black people'!?!

These town hall "Beer Putches" have little to do with HC.

When you got ENTIRE CROWDS shouting down the PEOPLE"S representatives (NOT OBAMA"S REPRESENTATIVES, as you seem to believe) telling them that they do not want socialized health-care, shouting 'just say no'... it's cause they don't like black people...

The logic you seem to be employing here is... well... retarted.

Re: Exposed: Republican Operative Lies

These people are disrupting free speech.

These people are demanding the truth from their public servants. Yes, the public servants are free to say what they want and the people they serve are free to call them down when they are lieing, or misrepresenting the will of the people.

These are the same tactics that have been used by the Leftists for 40 years. Hell, the Leftists invented this strategy. I think they're just getting pissy because the tables are turned. I find it funny as hell.

I doubt whether too many of the extremists to whom you direct this statement understand your reference, as I doubt whether they even know what the beer putsch was, nor recognize its signifigance.

I understand his reference--even if he spelled putsch wrong--and he couldn't more off base. Unless, he's directing the referrence towards the Dems, of course.

The will of the people is certainly an important concept, but these thugs are working against such rather than for it. The entire reason they have been organized to try to shout down any discusson is to give the impression there is more objection to it than actually exists - -an impression that becomes a fait accompli if they succeed to the point they can influence the sheep-like to follow suit by actually changing their own opinion.

WEll, if you look at the polls, you'll see that numbers are in line with the people getting fired up at the town hall meetings. If there were so many people that supported PBO's plan, whatever it is, the dissenters would have been shouted down. I mean, the pro OC folks are under standing orders from the Messiah to, "get in their faces".

Politeness is no guage of opinion.

Heaven help us if we ever live in a world where only the rude hold sway.

LOL...I remember when a certain side of the political fence claimed that protest, dissent and civil disobedience were patriotic.

I don't support shouting people down.

It's like when people show up at college casmpuses to scream at David Horowitz or something -- if the behavior is thuggish, it has no place.

I'm more of an old school guy, myself, in that I support marches and protests when they are non violent, but I do not support intimidation, physical threats, bullying behavior, mob thuggery, or the infringement upon other people's rights.

To give an example, if people wish to protest around abortion clinics, more power to them. Carry some signs, sing some songs, hand out some literature, no prob. If they start actively intimidating women entering the clinic, however, then they have crossed the line that seperates peaceful protest from thuggery. Same goes for the people organized against health care. If they wish to gather outside the venue, OR if they wish to present their case in a reasonable manner within the venue, that's just fine. If they are using bullying tactis to prevent OTHERS from expressing their views, though, they have crossed the line.

I believe that one person's right to swing their fist ends at another person's nose. You seem to be of the opinion that your own personal opinion on the subject means that your own right extends to the point of making contact.

Again, though, one does not foster free speech by acts geared towards suppressing it. This is just the :spin: of those who support the thuggery to try to obfuscate the real issue -- that they are simply attempting to FORCE their own opinions into policy.

Re: Exposed: Republican Operative Lies

I don't understand this whole "republican operative" concept. What makes somebody a "republican operative"?

And there is no proof that this woman is currently a member of the Republican party, only that she WAS. And for the record, it is possible to leave a party if you don't like it anymore.

Even if the "was" is an "is", what proof is there that she was present for any reason but her own motivation? What proof is there that she was sent--by the RNC, by a lobbying firm, by anybody?

If we disallow commentary on the basis of political affiliation, then we have forsworn democracy. Ridicule her if you like for her Republican ways--that, too, is part of participatory democracy--but do not remove her right to speak and to present her view of things.

It is worth noting further that Ms Blish was uniformly civil and courteous the entire time she was on camera. She did not silence anybody with loud shouts; she did not prevent anyone else from being heard; she did not infringe upon any person's rights, under the First Amendment or otherwise.

If hers is the discourse the liberals wish to silence, then they are at odds with the entirety of American political history as well as the particulars of the United States Constitution.

Hey listen, when your REPRESENTATIVES aren't doing their jobs and the public has no recourse but to wait till the next election to take their jobs away... they deserve to get shouted down and reminded about how they are no better then CRIMINALS and reminded of who they are really working for...

you know what's rude : This smug attitude of 'I don't care what you think, you just voted for me, now I do what I want." That is the type of rudeness you should be pissed off at.

I don't recall anyone making that silly argument.

The OP did...

Definitions of 'operative'
(ŏṕər-ə-tĭv, -ə-rā́tĭv, ŏṕrə-)
Dictionary.com · The American Heritage® Dictionary

(noun)

1. A skilled worker, especially in industry.
2.
1. A secret agent; a spy.
2. A private investigator.
3. One who works for a political organization, often wielding influence out of public view.

Thus, deception is the key here.(she was obviously trying to keep her GOP affiliation secret)

And there is no proof that this woman is currently a member of the Republican party, only that she WAS. And for the record, it is possible to leave a party if you don't like it anymore.

Can you show me where she says she left because she didn't like it anymore?
Can you prove she hasn't paid her dues? (Maybe she had her husband right the check so that she could say SHE hasn't paid her dues.......Is that not also possible?

(As a former fed investigator, I'd be willing to bet that her dues ARE all paid....Just a hunch.)

As a former fed investigator, you should know that the burden of proof is on the accuser, not the accused.

You say she has in fact paid her dues and is in fact a member in good standing of the local Republican Party. That is your accusation against her. Given that you are a former fed investigator, where are your evidences to support the charge?

I already said it was merely a hunch, but as your earlier refusal to keep your word shows, NO AMOUNT OR QUALITY OF EVIDENCE I could show you would be acceptable to you, so there is absolutely no point in my even trying. (see what happens when you lose credibility?....credibility is the only currency any of us have on these web forums. Lose that & you lose everything.

Hunch he said he had a hunch. Are investigators not allowed those?

If you would actually show evidence that Ms Blish was there upon the directive of someone else, you would begin to have a case.

You have proven beyond any and all doubt that Ms Blish was a member of the local Republican Party as of the beginning of 2008--something she herself acknowledged. You have shown NO evidence that she has any current affiliation with the local Republican Party, nor any evidence that she is involved with the Republican National Committee--evidence which is essential to sustain the accusation that Ms Blish is an "operative" who was there specifically to disrupt the meeting.

No evidence means no case. You have no evidence, therefore you have no case. Not a very impressive "investigation" on your part.

Good for you and ordinarily, I would agree. However, it's high time that the Leftist sowed what they have reaped for the past 40 years.

Hunches are not evidence. He can have hunches, but in presenting a case, either in a courtroom or as part of a debate, hunches are properly dismissed as speculation of the lowest quality.

Nobody was presenting evidence. Hunches are how most crimes are solved, allowing for (& hopefully leading to) the discovery & presentation of actual evidence in a court of law at trial.

Exactly. Thank you for acknowledging the weakness of your position: no evidence.
