Please tell me that I am having a bad dream and this IS still America... but before you do review this web page at whitehouse.gov:

The White House - Blog Post - Facts Are Stubborn Things

but please don't report ME! I deny ever having told any lies about healthcare.. I swear.. 'er at least not as many as Obama did on his healthcare pitch couple weeks ago... ; )

Re: Turn in your co-workers @whitehouse.gov

Any Libbos that want my real name so they can turn me, shoot me a PM and I'll gladly give it to you.

Well, if you consider the amount of hyper-partisan misleading information now saturating MSM and the public debate--

I read this as the WH encouraging people to do a little fact checking before they make up their minds or blindly accept every email and youtube video as factual and objective.

Perhaps you should do the same. START HERE.

It would seem that, although Obama and the Dems are making a hard-sell on their program, the real bold-face lies and misinformation are coming from the right.

Also check out FactCheck.org if you really want to get better informed about the health care issue and who has got most of the FACTS on their side.

If you're a devout GOPer who only wants to defend your mother-party's position, then I would avoid the FACT sites--they may be too upsetting...

There are laws against slander and libel. No organization has to worry about anything unless they are portraying something as fact without sufficient evidence. Besides that, I don't think they are asking for names so much as hounding out the different categories of misinformation currently afloat in the public consciousness.

Fact check web site site???? !!!?? How about looking at the darn Bill yourself instead of letting some liberal hack decide what it says FOR you... no wonder American voters are such an embarrassment!

Re: Turn in your co-workers @whitehouse.gov

Looks like they're trying to keep a handle on what chain letters are saying. Where are you getting that this is to "turn your coworkers in?"

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

I'm reporting Dear Leader, Queen Nancy, Henry Taxman, Barney the Banking Queen, and Chris Dudd.

Re: Turn in your co-workers @whitehouse.gov

I'm sorry I get most of my trash emails from and have most of my casual conversations with my co-workers...

How do you justify any administration soliciting information on personal discussions?? unless you happen to be writing from Russia.. that is.

Care to state what's mis-leading that you disagree with, the opposition has pretty much been spot on from what I see. Give me one specific thing the opposition got wrong and we can discuss it, otherwise this looks like a defensive talking point.

Dear Leader is wanting to capture yet more email addresses for his Dis-Organizing American PAC.

Unfortunately for him, the speed with one can create an email address for reporting the Anti-Republicans for lying to the American people gives him a database good for nothing but becoming the world's largest spam bot.

Facts are indeed stubborn things, Bill.

I'd love an intelligent and honest pro/con debate--but the GOP is intent on becoming more obsolete by not addressing the serious problems with health care in the U.S.

Re: Reading the Bill (have you?)

Both of those sites have thoroughly vetted the bills and shine a light on the facts vs. the partisan fiction.

Also, the non-partisan FactCheck.org was founded by a conservative couple who understood the power of the internet when it came to helping average folks cut through the partisan talking points and MSC echo chamber.

See how it helps to have the FACTS before you open your mouth.

Again, check it out if you really want to know what you're talking about. Yes, you may have to step out of your 'the Right is always right' comfort zone and swallow some hard truths about the level of deception the GOP is currently engaged in, but knowing/having all the facts is good, no?

There is no such thing when talking about political policies.

Jesus, how did your paranoid little conspiratorial mind spin that conclusion based on nothing more than this:

If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

I would love an honest pro/con debate, too, but none of the Libbos know enough about the healthcare bill to have such a debate. Come to think of it, I've yet to hear a single Democrat say what the bill will do. They've only railed on about what it's not going to do.

Talk Radio Campaign Frightening Seniors
Provision for End-of-Life Counseling Is Described by Right as 'Death Care'

FYI, are some people just shameless to allow themselves to be such dishonest tools, or do their delusions see what is just not there.

Are they asking for people to "turn others in"? Are they even asking for the names, addresses? Pretty obvious what the above quote says.

Re: Turn in your co-workers @whitehouse.gov

The Washington Post as a source? If the D.C. version of the New York Times is the best you've got, that's weak.

FYI, are some people just shameless to allow themselves to be such dishonest tools, or do their delusions see what is just not there.
Okay dude, I am a professional in the insurance industry and have seen enough of what they want to implement, the opposition is spot on.

Are they asking for people to "turn others in"? Are they even asking for the names, addresses? Pretty obvious what the above quote says.
Why is it even their business to record the data of people who exercise free speech in opposition to a bad government action, this is not Stalinist Russia yet.

Re: Turn in your co-workers @whitehouse.gov

Seniors should be frightened. Afterall, PBO said to just give them a pain pill and don't say he didn't say it, either.

Are they asking for people to "turn others in"? Are they even asking for the names, addresses?

That's exactly what's happening. If HCR wasn't a total charlie foxtrot, there wouldn't be any need for the WH to worry about it. Why would they be so worried about the exchange of ideas?

so you are going to edit out all the email address' associated with the chain email?? Yeah right

Well I would love an honest debate as well, except the problem has been repeatedly that your side wishes to only engage in partisan hyperbole, dishonesty, and ignorance. I gave up long time ago after seeing repeatedly your side just ignoring the actual facts we have, instead resorting to childish Obama/Socialism/Evil conspiracy government take over. I posted numerous times cold hard facts dealing with the current state of our health care system, and nobody ever cared to actually address the problems. Instead it has been tiresome emotional fear based rhetoric over and over.

FYI, maybe some have railed on and on about what it is NOT going to do, because again your side can only engage in dishonesty about the facts. Where has your side even addressed the core issues? They have not, instead we get the same "Killy Granny" rhetoric. Well how in the hell is anyone suppose to have an honest debate when one side is simply pulling something out their you know what?

Your side wrote the bill and still can't tell us what's in it. What's up with that?

Re: Turn in your co-workers @whitehouse.gov

It is not exactly rocket science involved in e-mailing a link to a website, or simply forwarding an e-mail to just one recipient. But you enjoy yourself with this big vast evil conspiracy.

There is no bill until it is passed, you know that.

Stop trying to claim some kind of high ground here, I have seen you post the same irrelevant data that the UHC side has been cherry picking for years, the stuff that makes the U.S. system look worse at face value until it is explained in context, your "facts" are not as solid as you think.

FYI, maybe some have railed on and on about what it is NOT going to do, because again your side can only engage in dishonesty about the facts.
Which facts do you want honestly answered? You're making the blank assertion here, back it up.
Where has your side even addressed the core issues?
Check the entire site, it's all over these forums, I myself have addressed the history of expense in the U.S. in detail.

Re: Turn in your co-workers @whitehouse.gov

Um, I think you might want to rethink that statement.
