House to consider resolution demanding Obama apologize to Crowley

@ 10:39 pm by Michael O'Brien

Congress would demand that President Obama apologize to the officer the president said had "acted stupidly" in the arrest of a prominent Harvard professor under a resolution set to be introduced by one Michigan lawmaker.

Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.) will introduce a House resolution on Monday demanding Obama retract and apologize for remarks he has made about Cambridge Police Sergeant James Crowley this past week.

The smack needs to be applied to McCotter, for joining Gates in the full retard squad.

I hope his fellow Republicans close ranks and vote against his outburst of sheer stupidity.

People really need to just let this thing die. That's all any sensible person involved in this affair seems to want.

A member of The House, who happens to be of the opposing political party of the POTUS, is going to waste tax-payer time and money by crafting a resolution (that will get shot down in a second) forcing the President to apologize for a notably poor, but unremarkable comment on a situation that has not interfered with the executives ability to operate.

It would be intriguing if it were a Democrat that was leading the way on this resolution, but otherwise, its just political saber rattling. More like butterknife rattling.

Amen, this is just a cheap political stunt that will serve no positive purpose, much like those Republicans pushing the whole birther agenda.

It would also be huge if people in Congress stopped wasting time and money on trite bull**** and started doing their jobs.

I always love these wacky house resolutions, the ones in favor of Christmas, denouncing terrorism, renaming french fries to 'Freedom Fries', etc.

It would also be huge if people in Congress stopped wasting time and money on trite bull**** and started doing their jobs.

But...but...that would be....rational.

The government employee who exhibits maturity and common sense could find him/herself unemployed. :doh

The Dems are running the show...that ain't gonna happen.

What the hell does that bailout have to do with this thread?

Yes, because the Republicans did such a wonderful job. :doh

Aaaaaah, don't ya just love the smell of "partisan mudslinging" in the late afternoon?

Howdy, Guy!

The point I'm making is that both the Republicans and Democrats are screwing this country over by pushing the same crap through Congress. First, Bush(a Republican) pushes a bailout passed by Congress. Then Obama(a Democrat) pushes a bailout which is passed. See where I'm going with this? Same ****, different name.

Just let him post his links. to Liberals the "link" is everything, even if it is irrelevant.
This is why you amuse me. You are so partisan that if someone disagrees with you they must be a "Liberal".

With that statement I totally agree! Well said.

p.s., If my calling you a "liberal" made you laugh, then my work here is good.

No, if anyone disagrees with me we discuss the reasons why. Hence, DebatePolitics.com.

Just ****ing great!

First the President sticks his nose into a local issue that is none of his business and if that wasn't bad enough, now we have the Congress putting in their two cents worth too. It is none of their business. Let this stupid episode die the ignominious death this tempest in a tea pot deserves!

THIS is what our government thinks is import? No wonder we are in deep ****.

If the GOP can tie Congress up and thereby prevent Congress from pushing forward any of the Messiah's unconstitutional legislative agenda, then the GOP is doing what it can to protect the people of the United States.

The longer the assualt on the nation's health is delayed, the better chance the nation has of rejecting the Messiah's nationalization plan.

And, if, in the process of doing that, the GOP can highlight the racism of the Messiah and His supporters, then more power to the GOP.

the two best Republican "bills o' Bul****" were everything stemming from the Terri Schiavo affair and the "demand Democrats rename themselves Democratic Socialists" movement.

Those two bills pretty succinctly summed up the Republican party.

So you think it's ok for the GOP to spend taxpayers dollars as long as it goes to slamming Obama no matter what it is. Brilliant

It was stupid for Obama to even get involved, it is even MORE idiotic for congress to weigh in on it. But good to know as long as it is partisan attacking against Obama, you are all for it.
