And you've found them all to be ****holes? That's not been my experience.
I said ****hole country. I was referring to DC.
And you've found them all to be ****holes? That's not been my experience.
I guess you missed the democratic primary in NY where they rejected 20% of the mail in ballots because they were late or had
issues on the ballot
Tens of thousands have complained of being turned away because of long lines, struck off rolls, deregistered and miscounted. In Georgia last midterms alone over 50,000 people were in a court challenge to get back on the rolls after being struck off and missed the election because the state attorney general Brian kemp (who was running for governor) refused to proceed with their case.
These sound like people who want to vote.
and another impeachment claiming Trump colluded with the post office to win the election.
I'm in agreement, there.Seems odd that people who have concerns about mail in votes would still try to do it. The best way to make sure your vote counts is to cast it in person.

There isn't enough time. Perhaps it can be raised again in 2022. Or people will have voter ID.
And the entire third of the electorate that already votes by mail? And the tens of millions who voted for Trump by mail? I don't think any party should be disingenuously refusing to count votes - but it's the GOP right now who don't want people to have the chance to vote at all.
I wasn't even aware that Rhode Island (and other states) had a requirement that voters had to sign mail-in ballots in the presence of two witnesses or a notary. A notary??? Good on SCOTUS for shooting down Republicans' relentless push to keep that active during the Covid pandemic.
High court: Rhode Island mail-in voters don't need witnesses
Yet democrats are. As usual your lies are exposed for what they are.
Republicans more importantly real americans want to ensure the integrity of our election system.
Which means doing all the things that leftist hate. Which is upholding the law and rules and order.
1. You have to be registered to vote
2. YOu must be able to prove you are a citizen of this country
3. You must contain a valid form of ID
4. Your information must be correct on your documents
5. Voter registration rolls are up to date and accurate.
6. Mail in ballots are requests not just automatically mailed out to who knows who.
7. Tracking systems are in place to track the ballot
8. Signature software is installed to verify the signature and people are there to double
verify the signature.
9. All people must sign their name into the software. which has to be updated every few years.
YOu know if you agree with all of those then we can have a rational logical discussion.
until then you are just blowing smoke.
All of those can be abused by corrupt officials: they can deregister the registered, fail to send out he forms to those who need to re-register; challenge a signature even after a computer has verified it; challenge the ID given; refuse to mail out the absentee ballots because they're not 'tracked'.
And they do all of these and more.
The real voter fraud is the massive campaign of suppression, not a handful of cases of in-person fraud.
And to talk about a 'rational discussion' then accuse people of 'blowing smoke' is rich to say the least.
It is RI law that 2 witnesses sign see it signed. Democrats once again thwarting the law in an because it gets in the way of their agenda.
It has nothing to do with the GOP.
as i said you are just blowing smoke. you are dismissed.
When the Democratic Party talks about "voter suppression" they mean trying to prevent non-citizens from voting and preventing fraudulently cast ballots. That's why they never say "American voter suppression," just "voter suppression."
It is RI law that 2 witnesses sign see it signed. Democrats once again thwarting the law in an because it gets in the way of their agenda.

"The justices rejected a request by the Republican National Committee and Rhode Island Republicans to freeze a lower-court order that approved an agreement between state election officials and civic groups to waive a requirement that absentee ballots be signed in the presence of either two witnesses or a notary."
A lower court had approved an agreement to waive requirements for requiring two witnesses or a notary must be present for absentee ballot signatures.
This was approved to get rid of an unconstitutional burden in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Republican National Committee and Rhode Island Republicans tried to intervene and stop this lower court ruling from happening.
SCOTUS stepped in and told them too bad, you can't burden these voters during Covid-19.
Once again, Republicans, stepping in to thwart the courts ruling and burden voters, because it gets in the way of their agenda.
So, Republicans have nothing to do with the GOP?
You are dismissed.
Trump Has A Path To Victory. It's Voter Suppression.
This article discusses a whole suite of dirty tricks, A sample, bold by me:
100,000 voters in 2016, lost their vote for postage due. Trump won by 77,000.
So there's:
gerrymandering
closing polling stations
New ID laws
Special IDs for students
demanding ballots are notarized
multiple witnesses (during coronavirus)
purging rolls and 'de-registering'
'challenging' ballots (the actual voter fraud)
selectively refusing absentee ballots
slowing the postal service
And of course the war on mail-in. You mail in your registration, you do your drivers licence by mail, the treasury mailed everyone a $1,200 check; the president and half his cabinet and family and half a dozen entire states vote by mail. But suddenly that's not 'safe' to do anymore.
Suppressing the vote was instrumental in 2016. There were other things: misinformation, a poorly run Clinton campaign, Vladimir Putin, sure. But this time Trump is so far behind that suppression has to be ramped up on several fronts to make up the difference.
Lefties can protest, go to walmart, go golfing...but cant ****ing vote. Sounds about right.
The GOP has not erected artificial barriers to those. They're not closing the greens yet, ore standing outside Walmart ready to take your purchase as you leave. They are trying to make protests illegal however.
But really does this non sequitur speak to the matter of voter suppression or is it just a deflection?
