Deutsche Bank Reportedly Gave Trump’s Financial Records to Manhattan District Attorney

There is dual justice system in this country.

Even if he is found guilty, he'll only pay a small fine (relative to his income), and be on his merry way. He'll never have to admit guilt.

It's just the cost of doing business when you're wealthy. It is very rare for a millionaire/ billionaire to do hard time (unless they screwed other wealthy people - e.g. Madoff)

Trump sure deserves to have all of his fortunes seized and given to the people he screwed over. Not one red cent should be to his name.

And a lot of it was going to Trump org. The bank new all along if Trump defaulted on it's loans, it wasn't the banks money, it was Putins.

Trump has been in with the Russians close to 20 years or so.

So 50 forensic FBI agents, two dozen CIA officials, 2500 witnesses, 17 super lawyers, and millions of seized documents couldn't find any financial connection between Trump and Russia but a New York DA is going to crack this egg? :lamo

what Christian would vote for THAT?

Deutsche Bank Gave Trump’s Records to DA Vance: Report The DA just needs the material from the bank and accounting firm to indict Trump for tax fraud. The statute of limitations for criminal tax fraud and evasion in New York State is five years. The 2015 NY tax returns were due April 2016. Thus, statute of limitations does not run out until April 2021. What is the probability the Trump filed any tax return that was not fraudulent, especially for a year that he was not president?

Since they handed them over last year and he still hasn't been indicted, good luck with that.

"A report emerged on Wednesday that Vance’s office subpoenaed the German lender last year in what the New York Times said was a sign that their criminal investigation into Trump’s business practices is more wide-ranging than previously known.

The report noted that this appeared to be the first instance of a criminal inquiry involving Trump and his dealings with Deutsche Bank."

sitting president. ducks. row.

[Anthony Kennedy and Donald Trump] had a connection, one Mr. Trump was quick to note in the moments after his first address to Congress in February 2017. As he made his way out of the chamber, Mr. Trump paused to chat with the justice.

“Say hello to your boy,” Mr. Trump said. “Special guy.”

Mr. Trump was apparently referring to Justice Kennedy’s son, Justin. The younger Mr. Kennedy spent more than a decade at Deutsche Bank, eventually rising to become the bank’s global head of real estate capital markets, and he worked closely with Mr. Trump when he was a real estate developer, according to two people with knowledge of his role.

During Mr. Kennedy’s tenure, Deutsche Bank became Mr. Trump’s most important lender, dispensing well over $1 billion in loans to him for the renovation and construction of skyscrapers in New York and Chicago at a time other mainstream banks were wary of doing business with him because of his troubled business history.

Justice Neil M. Gorsuch, who had served as a law clerk to Justice Kennedy

Very very suspicious!!!!!

TOO MANY CONNECTIONS - JUST BE COINCIDENCES

I wasn't on the Mueller team or SDNY so I can't help you out.

I was just rebutting the accusation that Mueller wasn't looking at any Trump financial information which just isn't even close to the truth.

Thanks. Yes, I hate to say it but it appears to me that in some ways Mueller dropped the ball. I don't think we will ever know everything Mueller knew nor some of the obstacles he faced, or why he did or did not follow through on what we think was obvious.

possibly extensive
that could confirm
From previous subpoenas, it is understood that Vance’s office is investigating hush payments Trump made in 2016 to women he allegedly had affairs with, to determine if the then-candidate violated New York State law.

I love the way these articles are written...just enough could be and maybe's that if it is all hogwash, they cant be sued for liable

Yet you all eat it all up with a spoon....

I will wait on the ACTUAL EVIDENCE provided before determining guilt....

i think that is the way it actually works still.....

Uhh yeah, they are legally required to do that. That's why you'll see news outlets use terms like "allegedly" even when the evidence is overwhelming. "Here's video of this guy allegedly lighting his neighbor's house on fire" and the video has him yelling out "I'm Erik Erikson and I'm setting this guy's house on fire because his dog wont stop barking!"

They're not allowed to call someone a criminal until after they've been convicted.

in some ways, i agree

in other ways, this is how they skirt the libel laws

they can throw all kinds of innuendo and crap out there, and unless there is proof of "malice" there is nothing the injured party can do about it

But think about that for a second....and i want you to remember back a few years

I want you to remember back to 1988....near where i live now (Summer olympics in Atlanta)

A young mans life was ruined by innuendo and stories which they just made into a movie just recently

I dont know what is true of these stories about Trump....neither do you....

But way too many of these stories have zero facts....it is all innuendo and hearsay crap

ANd i call it yellow journalism at its finest....

It is a shame this is what the Cronkite, Murrow, and others have led to....

Hell, do you think Katherine Graham from the WASHPO would post half of the crap hitting now?

No way in hell....there is no integrity in what is reported....that is my point

I'd say about 100%.

Trump's taxes are prepared by accounting firms that have a lot to lose if they are involved in any fraud. They are reviewed by officials at the IRS. Both of these are far more competent than internet wannabees.

But you have to remember all they have to work with is what the person tells them, they may not know all the real facts
Have a nice night
