Man Pulls Gun on Walgreens Customer For Not Wearing Mask Inside Store

You want to fine businesses for a dress code?

No. I want to fine them for letting the militant maskless spread a pandemic on their property.

Seems to me the non mask wearer was not following an EO from the Governor. One photo from the OP had a sign in the door regarding no mask/no service.

Since you support the guy who did not wear a mask, what is your objection to wearing a mask? What other laws or guidelines do you believe people can ignore? Do you wear your seat belt when driving?

I agree that pulling a gun is a bit much. imo, the store should have someone at the door. No mask/No service.

It's their store. They can certainly do that if they choose. Many don't. In Va gov blackface has decreed that all stores must post a sign. Most do, most ignore them.

My objection to masks is twofold. I believe they do more harm than good unless you use disposables and dispose after every use. Otherwise you're just squishing yesterdays germs up against your face. And two, I don't like being told I have to something that I don't believe is helpful or cost effective.

Nope, far from it, it is a proven effective way to manage public health.

Doesn't change the fact it's extremely radical. An no, I haven't seen anything proven.

Sure it does. There are threads here where peoole are freaking out because a guy went into costco without a mask. Does the costo guy represent everyone else or is he also just one nutbag?

While I agree one can't put everyone in the same basket, sadly the nuts on both sides are a much higher number and one shone in an incident.

Snort. Just like a drivers license, eh?

Actually, no. You are not required to possess a drivers license. And there are alternatives permitted by law.

Driver's licenses are only required if you are driving, on public property.

Here we go people..the mask pushers now want to shoot you if you don't breath the way they want.

Will you accept responsibility for antimaskers I show you videos of?

Your first objection is false which invalidates your second objection.

Thanks for the reply.
I respect your opinion even though I consider it misguided. The majority of medical specialist support wearing of masks.

If the store had a sign no mask/no service would you comply or just go in? Lets say it is the only store in your area for the items you want.

I wear a mask when going food shopping or to like Home Depot. I tend to go only during off hours. I do not wear a mask while taking my exercise walk. I do it early enough that there is not many people. I keep at least 20' away from anyone I see approaching me.

This is not normal times. There is much that researchers need to learn about CV19. I tend side with safety

Seems like he echoed the hysteria of the mask pushers perfectly.
Lets face it, there's a good chance he's one of yours. I"m sure there are plenty of conservatives who didnt fall for the vile "mask is tyranny" narrative from the right.

Right, it's always Trump's fault, never the fault of malcontents and rioters. There is no real science to suggest masks do anything. Also, the so-called "experts" have been all over the map, and wrong so many times, why should we trust them now? Have you actually seen the way the general public uses masks? Common sense tells me it's doing more harm than good. For many, it's far more than a "minor inconvenience".

Where exactly do governors and local officials get the power to require masks or risk fines and even jail time?

Actually the science is in, you are wrong. A lot of this is Trump’s fault because he and his administration did everything they could to sabotage our pandemic response including firing experts. Your anti intellectualism is killing people. Trump owns a lot of this **** because of his autocratic BS and telling everyone to not wear masks.

Funniest thing about these militant anti maskers is they worship the #1 organization that will enforce greater tyranny than a ****ing mask rule, the police.

Government Northram has ordered all public businesses to post that sign. Most post but ignore. So yes, I go in. To date I have not been denied entrance. Not even an objection. If they did, I would leave. I don't know of ant product that I need that I can't purchase elsewhere.

There is no product that I use that I can't purchase elsewhere.

Out of respect, I tend to keep my distance from other people, but don't go out of my way to do so. In the final analysis, if you object to my policy, it's your responsibility to avoid me, but I'm not going to jump out in front of you and yell "gotcha".

So you have an idiot confronting a moron. In the US that means it's just a coin-toss who shoots who. In this case nobody got shot but it just as easily could have ended with them shooting each other.
And, it has a feeling of inevitability about it. There probably will be gunfire before this is over. Care to predict who will fire the first shot?

Have you considered washing a mask? That gets rid of "yesterday's germs."

No. How does that work? You stick it in your pocket, wear it around your neck, take it out and put it on. Grab it with your hand to lower it when you speak. But now when you use it, those germs are plastered on your nose and mouth. Yesterday's germs are still there.

I have to admit. Until I began reading the COVID pages, I had no idea just how stupid Trumpers could be. I must say. They have exceeded all expectations.

the ignorance of the left is truly astonishing. The police don't enforce any laws that your legislatures do not create. Why do you think all of these problems are exacerbated in large cities which have been run by democrats for decades? Good ****ing grief already.

I was actually having a conversation with an interesting and insightful poster.

Then you showed up.

You can fine a restaurant via citation for things like customers not wearing shoes or rear/genitals covered.
