Grandfather of slain 11-year-old says BLM ignores "black-on-black crime"

Really simple. Birth control shot (progestin) requirement if young women except/live on welfare and subsidized Housing.

What the hell is BLM supposed to do in PoS World, anyway? Break into the jail where a black man suspected of murdering another is being held, stand right outside his cell, and protest?

Because they were not formed to deal with that issue, any more than they were formed to deal with housing discrimination. The ACLU does not address economic issues, the NAACP does not organize workers, Trump didn’t seem to care about crimes *against* immigrants, etc. Presumably, BLM may want to address black on black crime at some time, but such criticism can be a way critics avoid the questions they raise.

Bad analogy. A better one would be where a group called Whale Lives Matter focused on those whales who wash up on beaches and ignore the whaling ships slaughtering them by the proverbial boatload just offshore.

FBI 2016 report when Obama was still president. Blacks committed 2,870 homicides, their victims 243 whites, 2,570 black, 17 other, 40 unknown. Whites committed 3,499 homicides, their victims were 2,854 whites, 533 blacks, 40 others, 72 unknown. Remember whites makes up 72% of the population, blacks 13%.

imo, this has nothing to do with Trump Fan Nation. The Grandfather brought up a valid point, "What about all the black-on-black crime that’s happening in the community?”

Bad cops are not the main killers of blacks. The grandfather is correct in trying to get the community to recognize that they have a much bigger problems than a few bad cops.

The grandfather spoke what I have been thinking for years. All leaders (don't care what race) who represent those communities need to start working to reduce the violence. The people within the communities need to start working with officials to reduce the criminal elements (gangs, scumbags) that prey upon the citizens of that community.

Black Lives only Matter when it's a White cop killing a Black person.
But Black on Black massacres like in the south side of Chicago this weekend? Ho hum!

Because it doesn't align with there narrative that guns are great as long as they're not in the hands of people of color.
 
This reminds me of what some of the organizers of the CHOP said.

The protesters had to reckon with the CHOP changing the character of the neighborhood and the city, Slate said. "If Black lives really matter, why are we still here potentially risking the lives of more Black people?"

How about BLM making a statement that they shouldnt be tolerating black on black crimes instead of just being silent about it? Is that too much to ask? In your hypocritical world it seems so.
