Amy Cooper, White Woman Who Called Cops On Black Man In Central Park, Is Being Prosecuted

If you see something say nothing. Never call the police.

Unless it's a white man doing the something. Though you should probably ask if he's part of any protected groups, just to be safe.

You left out the part where he threatened her.

Except he didnt. And the DA has heard the video and also doesnt believe he did either.

He wanted, if anything, to control her dog, from letting it do more damage to the surrounding area or disturbing wildlife. Why should she and her dog illegally destroy his legal and normal enjoyment of the park?

This is the barely coherent and grammatically inept speech of a man who desperately wants to be able to claim that he "cured coronavirus."

That's it, in a nutshell. When we do get a handle on this crisis, he wants to be able to pull out footage and declare "I called it! I said use this! I said try this! I told them to do this, it was my idea!" He's just doing it with lots of stupid stuff because he doesnt want to miss an opportunity. He's afraid 'the big one' will be mentioned and he wont get credit for it.

It's all about declaring himself the savior of the cv crisis and we'll hear all about it, esp in his campaign. (Which is basically each of his press briefings these days) --- Lursa

LOL, you act like birdwatching is some noble pursuit. Birdwatching is literally some dude with binoculars claiming he looks at birds. There is no reason to profile him differently than anyone else because he is a birdwatcher. Yes she mentioned his race to be precise. You can’t phone in a complaint on somebody and not describe what they look like.

The purpose of the natural areas of the part are to enjoy THE PARK. Nature, quiet, the wildlife, the flora, etc. CP is an island oasis in the middle of a huge metropolis...a haven for migrating birds and New Yorkers.

An off-leash predator is unnatural and illegal and disrupts that for others.

You are way out of your league here. I used to lead bird walks in the Ramble and other parts of CP.

So what? That doesn’t mean she filed a false report

You're taking this too literally.

It isn't about backwards conservative concepts like "truth" and "falsehood". What matters is that, when a fine member of our country's noble class deigned to speak with a lowly commoner, the commoner acted disrespectfully, even refusing his gracious offer of a potentially poisoned dog treat.

That is what she was fired for and what she's being prosecuted for.

It is irrelevant whether or not he threatened her in a legally actionable sense, he did in fact threaten her. Therefore her filing a police report saying he threatened her is not a crime because it is true.

But see, you don’t care about the law. To you this is part of the cultural revolution. This is pure politics. People almost never get prosecuted for actually filing false reports. The city has had a massive spike in black thug shooting each other, Dave disband the police department unit that stops and fresh people illegally carrying guns. They have roving bands of people defacing monuments. But they’re going to spend prosecutorial resources on a bogus charge like this? That is not public safety, it is politics

If her dog was on a leash, it wouldnt be able to be poisoned. She no longer had control of it. She chose to put her dog in jeopardy if she truly thought that was a risk.

LOL He did in fact NOT threaten her :doh

and just because the cops havent been enforcing a law (making false reports) doesnt mean they shouldnt. They can and are making a good example here for others and should enforce it more. But that doesnt mean she isnt guilty. She wasnt threatened and made a false report.

How hypocritical...to critisize me for supporting them enforcing an actual law...and then a couple of sentences later admitting it's an actual law. So...the cops shouldnt enforce laws? :doh

How did he threaten her? By recording her? By beckoning the dog with a treat?

While stating a threat to her with his own mouth

She didn’t call the police because he was a certain color, she called police because he was being creepy toward her and her dog.

Again, no valid logical argument. Only sophistry

See ya

Only racist justification...

You know, I have the privilege to work and speak with people from all walks of life, race, sexual preference, etc. Seems to me the only folks afraid of non-white folks are people like you, waging a destructive culture war with your buddy, the mango menace.

The Ministry puts out whole articles on which subjects and terms are off limits between the races, and ever-changing instructions on how Whites should talk to Blacks.

I can speak to my White friend about my new home's master bedroom. As of yesterday, saying "master bedroom" to a Black is commensurate with racism and deserving of national vilification. That subject is now off limits when I talk to Blacks because I may "slip" and actually say the racist phrase "master bedroom". The public shaming isn't worth the risk to me.

Pretty simple really. Don't go into a dog must be leashed area with an unleashed dog. And when someone points out your dog is suppose to be on a leash? Don't throw back some bs of "he needs his exercise" crap. Leash your dog (as required by law) and go about your day.

Or go dick move, don't put your dog on a leash, go Karen entitled mode, lose your job and deal with the aftermath. She chose that second route.

She lost her job because her dog wasn't leashed?

LOL He did in fact NOT threaten her :doh
I'm convinced that he knew she would believe the treats were poisoned, and that it was his intent for her to think that. In that way, he threatened to poison her dog.

He was not wrong for simply asking her to leash up her dog. But I think he was wrong for pretending to feed the dog poisoned treats when she refused. It would've been better for him to call the authorities and show them the video.

Here's more anecdotal information for you to file.

An experiment was conducted in a neighborhood not too long ago where a white stranger walked down the street brandishing an assault rifle. Neighbors waved to him as he walked by and no one asked any questions.

The next day a black man walked through the same neighborhood carrying the same weapon. Almost immediately the man was stopped by the police and questioned.

Were the neighbors "just being stupid" or were they being frightened racists?

Anecdotes can sometimes have relevance.

Trumpists are all about arming civilians, as long as those civilians are the correct color!

Yep anecdotal lol the dailybeast a leftist rag of bull****.
there is no evidence of systematic racism.

that doesn't mean people aren't racists.

Guess what if i walk down a black neighborhood as a white guy with a gun there is a good chance I will be shot.
does that mean i get to scream racism as well?

heck if i walk in certain black neighborhoods without a gun i will shot.
i guess that is racism at work.

this is based on your own logic of course.

PS what you didn't prove is that the same guy that waved before called the police.

The mental sickness of most on this forum is alarms. Nearly all of you should just acknowledge that you think black men have a right to threaten, assault, rape and murder any white woman they want to?

THIS is the story, even by his own explanation - and his claiming he routinely does this.

A young adult white woman is waking a 30 pound, not aggressive breed of dog on a lease at a massive park. The dog gets free and run over to bushes, sniffing and digging around like a dog will do.

A young adult black man goes over to the dog at the bushes, demanding the young woman come over to the bushes to get the dog or he is going to give the dog something he has in his hand, saying "you won't like what happens next."

Apparently the dog runs to the woman instead. Rather than complying with his demand to go over to the bushes, who calls the police saying saying an African American man is threatening her and her dog.

He said he does this routinely - lures dog owners to him threatening to give the dog something the owner does not want the dog to have. He is not a cop. Not park patrol. Rather, this is what he routinely does in Central Park - a location known for people poisoning animals.

All you are screaming RACIST! RACIST! RACIST! because she did not comply with the man's demand that she go over to the bushes.

Most of you should just admit you claim that black men have a legally protected right to assault, rape and/or murder any white woman they want to and at least be honest about it.

You are lying. Through your teeth, joko.

Nobody is poisoning pets in Central Park. I even confirmed this just now with a good friend who works for the ASPCA. You are lying. Lying.

You have falsely accused this man of trying to poison her dog and claiming he "routinely" does this. Your hatred for this black man has reduced you to telling disgusting lies about him. I am so glad you and I have nothing in common. I would rethink my brain and sanity if I was anything like you are - racist, dishonest, and vile.

That's a lie. If what he claimed is true, she risked getting a ticket. He had no risk whatsoever - unless he did if they explored why he tries to lure women over to bushes by threatening their dogs.

I wonder if he has a routine where he also tried to lure children over the bushes with a dog?

Except it is not a lie, interactions with the police for black men is risky, being accused of threatening someone's life can lead to arrests.

So to claim he had no risks is ridiculous nonsense.

The only lie here is your nonsense about him luring children, Trump must be proud for such creativity in blaming the black victim of this story.

She'll probably just pay the fine. If it goes to a jury trial (not before a judge) and she is found guilty with a lawyer, that lawyer should be disbarred for incompetence.

We will see, everybody is innocent until guilty for the law. But what everybody in the world has seen is that she is guilty of being a lunatic racist idiot.

You mean she could have said "Yes, master, I will do whatever you command."

The right thing for him to do when she refused was to video tape it and call the police and/or animal control. "You're not going to like what I'm going to do... Come here puppy" was not the logical thing to do - and he admits he does this to frighten dog owners.

He succeeded in frightening her. What's his complaint?

Wow, making the black person the slave master, more Trumpist lies, again, your Orange Messiah would be proud of you.

I won't speak for joko, but Christian Cooper must have known that she would think the treats were poisoned, and giving her that idea must have been his intent. He committed that wrong but it doesn't seem to be getting much attention. Is that fair to say?

More baseless accusations.

Sadly a Karen and a Neil met in the park that day...two people who were willing to physically act to intimidate and force the other - one by attempting to lure her dog away, the other by calling 911. Two people who just couldn't live and let live.

But shes white, he's black...the outcome was a forgone conclusion.

Except he was doing nothing wrong, no law says you cannot give a dog a tree to make sure it does not hurt of chase away birds, the only mistake was Karen not having her dog on the leash. Pure and simple and all troubles for her coming from her racist lunatic response are all down to her, not to him.

So now you're fantasizing that he is a pedophile, too.

Your posts are disgusting, and anyone who doesn't condemn you has problems, too.

When he tried to give the dog treats, immediately after telling her that she won't like it, what do you think he meant by that? What other explanation is there?
