During the Senate confirmation hearing for then-Supreme Court nominee Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Biden, the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman, made a surprising comment about the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC), an organization committed to preserving Confederate statues with ties to the Ku Klux Klan.

27 years ago Biden called the Daughters of the Confederacy fine people. Well, that's that then, innit.
This shows why Biden needs to be very low-key, because that way Trumpelievers will be reduced to embarrassing internet dumpster-diving trying to come up with dirt.

Here's why Biden's comments were accurate and why the modern idiot leftists ****ting themselves over "the confederacy" is such a pathetic ****ing joke.

Lincoln initiated a reconstruction plan that was intended to reunite the states and to make brothers of enemies. He was smart enough to know that a healthy path to growth as a nation involved unification, not hatred.

That is a message the modern day leftists have missed...but they havent missed it because they have thought this through or because they actually care about any of this. The leftists today that **** themselves over the confederacy are just a collection of hate filled trolls and this campaign is just another wedge issue to use to divide the country. The Daughters and Sons of the Confederacy are people that celebrate their ancestors. Most of their ancestors didnt want the war and didnt want the country to be at war. But the idiot leftist doesnt care abut the fact. To the idiot leftist, if you are white, and dont express hatred of the Confederacy and hatred of the southern states and hatred of the people from 160 years ago you are a racist and support and want slavery. The idiot leftist isnt smart enough to recognize that people around the globe practiced slavery, that people in the north as well as the south practiced slavery, and that attitudes about slavery changed, were changing and would have fully evolved over time.

Because none of that matters to the idiot leftists. All the idiot leftist wants is hatred and ways and means to attack 'the other guys'. They focus on things like the Confederacy, on the flag, and on statues from a southern heritage form 160 years ago while ignoring the fact that the black American communities face far greater devastation today in northern and western states where no confederate ever stepped foot.

It is too much to expect the idiot leftist to think...to apply reason and rational thought to the world, to all people and cultures, and to history, to the growth of people and to the social development of all mankind.

There is nothing wrong with Bidens comments...then or now.
 
Obviously I’m not a Biden supporter but good grief, things change and acknowledging a familial connection to the Confederacy (if I understand what Daughters of the Confederacy is or was) in 1993 wasn’t yet the big deal it is now. In short, Biden wasn’t necessarily wrong.
 
At the same time Biden was leading the passage of laws to target black people with criminal laws specific to target them, 100,000 police to arrest black people and 125,000 new prison cells to put them in - while the Clintons were targeting black gangs (only) also with special laws with Biden their point man in the Senate.

For example, white man's pure cocaine could get you a probated sentence, while the cheap crack cocaine of black neighborhoods could put you in prison for life. Joe Biden never stopped bragging about this.

Understand the real reason rich white billionaires via their ownership of all TV stations, newspapers, search engines and major Internet outlets rammed Joe Biden down Democratic primary voters throats - even using the 24/7 covid-19 bio-terrorism of their info outlets to 100% silence Bernie Sanders. It's not like ANY progressives like Joe Biden. Rather, Democrats - again - voted as rich white billionaires told them to vote.
 
As an aside the daughters of the confederacy are still a bunch of evil pricks. They are one of the main reasons the damage the confederacy did to this country is still ongoing.
 
The amount of lies and vapid misinformation campaigns this organization orchestrated is a big reason why the south still clings onto the worst aspects of its history.

So who did you want to be the Democratic nominee instead of Joe Biden? Nobody else had a chance of catching up with him. And the reason was BLACK voters.
