I’m torn if this is correct. I was a teenager in 1968 DC when there was a trooper in front of every wine/spirits shop with fixed bayonets. I served in the division from 1973-1975.

The IRF is broken down into three separate packages called Immediate Response Battalions (IRB) which are numbered IRB 1, IRB 2, and IRB 3. Yesterday, IRB 1 drew weapons and ammunition, to include crew-served M240 machine guns, at Fort Bragg, the source said.

So the President is calling in the 82nd Airborne on the citizens of America.

Wouldn't make for a particularly good Michael Bay film...

Where they sent to Arkansas to enforce school integration?

Enemies foreign and domestic.

I doubt they drew machine guns.

Using soldiers as police is stupid.

Enemies foreign and domestic.

Domestic in that case were the Confederates.

The oath was put in place after the Civil War. It says you have to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, and the Confederates were the "domestics".

Domestic is any internal threat.

Cuz they’d cleared that with you first?

Have they redesigned the M-16 since I first drew one?

Because it's illegal to use automatic weapons on United States citizens.

Their rifles will be issued with selector switch blocks that prevent the selector switch from being rotated to automatic.

A failure in policing. If the cops focused on the looters and left the peaceful proteserts alone, we wouldn't be having this problem.

They're not terrorists either. You're just throwing labels around with no meaning.

They're using violence to push an agenda. That's the exact definition of a terrorist. Stop defending these assholes.

What agenda? That law enforcement should be held accountable for their actions?

These aren't terrorists; these are criminals plain and simple and should be dealt with according to criminal law. All you're doing is piling on more and more bull**** to excuse blatantly authoritarian efforts by the Trump administration.

And reperations and universal healthcare and guaranteed income and the list goes on.

Black Lives Matter releases list of demands for Oklahoma City leaders

Only hostage takers and terrorists issue demands.

Irrelevant. BLM is not organizing the looting of stores and the vandalizing of private property, but good to know you want the government to designate any group you don't like as terrorists.

How does the saying go?

"First they came for the communists..."

BLM is in on this just as much as the rest of those mother****ing bastards.

And now they need to be crushed under the boot heel of the central government.

You'd make the KGB proud.
