Cut him some slack. Remember, he likes people who weren't captured.
He also likes people that weren't killed.

Maybe he has a pseudonym here.
Wouldn't that be a hoot.
Those are your words not mine -- the "don't respect" veterans garbage statement you made.
So you don't respect veterans that don't agree with you politically? That's a pretty ****ty way to think.
Euphemize it all you want, that's what you were articulating.
It's what you are saying.
It's the word you try to cutesy assign in your debate games.
Meanwhile this thread and topic deal with Trump's endless and unrelenting disrespect of veterans and active duty military personnel. While Trump pardons war criminals and rants about Capt. Crozier to name one recent Trump target, you in your lightweight posts play beanbag against Trump's critics. Your guy Trump himself likes hunger games instead.
No, what you are doing is deflecting. Name any other president that has ever attacked a veteran on Memorial Day.
I want you to answer this truthfully---so the rest of the time its okay to attack Veterans? Because that is your implication. If it isn't, well then you haven't been paying attention.

Be mad at yourself, you said you don't respect most veterans because they are right wingers. Your words, not mine.
I understand this is difficult for many to grasp, but, if something is wrong, then it's wrong even when 'your' guy does it. That includes hypocrisy. You don't understand, because Democrats didn't say nit when their guys were doing it, but now they grasp it? I'm not excusing it. I'm saying it was already accepted, they just failed to take notice of it. Now, the outrage is political convenience.cpwill said:When Democrats do it, it's bad, so when Trump does it, it's acceptable and we shouldn't castigate it because the real problem isn't him doing it now, but Democrats having done it in the past... And letting your moral positions be determined by tribal politics is bad.
My irony meter just shattered. Dangit, I just got this thing after the last one blew up.

It's not the political smearing that bothers me the most. It's that he's got the greatest pulpit to address the entire grieving world as we are approaching a horrific death milestone, on Memorial Day Weekend, and he chooses that time and pulpit to golf and smear veterans, slander reporters and rivals, and call the media 'deranged' for reporting what's happening.
Even the golf is arguably understandable... but c'mon, smearing US veterans on Memorial Day? That is all the world's greatest leader could think of, at possibly the peak of our greatest crisis in decades?
Mh that spectrum is very small and shrinking. Ive seen the cult mentality in my own family, its definitely a cult of personality. There will always be a handful of zealots on any side of politics. That is no reason to brand a broad spectrum of Trump supporters in such a way though.
If you are going to lie, at least come up with a lie that is reasonably plausible. You claim to have left a party that is highly diverse in every way due to racism and bigotry, for a party that is about as white as a Klan rally, who's president has a white supremacist as his most trusted advisor. That's utterly ridiculous. I don't care why you left the Democratic Party, good riddance, but the whole garbage about it being because of bigotry and deep-seated racism is utterly absurd.
I understand this is difficult for many to grasp, but, if something is wrong, then it's wrong even when 'your' guy does it. That includes hypocrisy.
Produce the quote you claim exists.
You can't.
It's your concoction entirely of "that's what you were articulating." No, I never said it while you are trying to assign it to me instead. What I did say is that your lightweight debate games are a waste of my time.
You can criticize anyone's ideas and actions. However, on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day, anyone with a shred of decency about them and with any love of this country at all will refrain from attacking those that served this country. Moreover, anyone that has any love of this country in them, ought to agree with that.

Yes, when a black man is told to go be a good little house nigger for the republicans and almost no other members in the group bat an eye.
I would say that's something to be considered a racist act. Not to mention the death threats and the attempts and ending my career that followed, nor the racial attacks on my niece.
I'm glad to see that you agree with these kinds of acts, or that you just believe blacks who don't fall in line with the democrats, are to actually be considered people.
So how am I supposed to take it now that you just simply believe that they're not at fault here, while also repeating the same tired lie about the republicans, that's basically been disproven time and time again.
I'm not going to lie. I've seen racism on the right, but it's been nowhere near the amount that I've seen coming from the left in my last decade on this earth and it worries me that you are entirely okay with that.
Of all the comments he could make on Memorial Day, as our citizens approach 100k deaths. Something seems really off here.
"
Donald Trump picked Memorial Day to attack Rep. Conor Lamb (D-Pa.), a Marine Corps veteran, as an “American fraud” and “puppet for Crazy Nancy Pelosi” as the president endorsed the lawmaker’s rival on Monday.
...Trump goofed up the attack...
Trump appeared to be unaware that Lamb, far from being Pelosi’s “puppet,” was one of only 15 Democrats in the House who did not vote for her to become speaker in 2017.

"to disrespect an armed forces veteran on Memorial Day. this is truly, truly shameful."— Mike Majlak (@mikemajlak) May 25, 2020

You're smarter than this. Veteran GOP politicians have been getting smeared for decades and you chose now to get in a snit over it? I could maybe agree its wrong if it hadn't been going on forever.
Does that mean that every Republican is a puppet for Trump, and rightfully to be blamed for every disgusting, tasteless, stupid, or destructive thing he does? He's a Democrat, so he's a puppet for Pelosi. And Memorial Day is for honoring the dead, not the living. Get a clue.
Why refrain only "on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day"? Why not every day.
Hey and we can't criticize someone like Pelosi on Mother's day? Why not every day cuz mother's are real important.
And hands off Joe Biden every day because of, you know, his mental disorder. It's so cruel.
Do you want to talk about mental disorders when you are a Trump supporter? Seriously?
If you served this country, you earned 2 days a year of some respect and not to be called an "American Fraud" by a piece of **** that showers this country's enemies with praise. Trump has a history of attacking veterans. All the while, Trump has showered guys like Kim Jong Un with public praise and adoration, despite the fact that the North Korean dictator has tortured to death American citizens.
So if ya'll want to defend a man like that calling a veteran an American Fraud on Memorial Day, then fine, it's a free country, go ahead and do it, but own it.
Does that mean that every Republican is a puppet for Trump, and rightfully to be blamed for every disgusting, tasteless, stupid, or destructive thing he does?
Oh. So, if the rule can be applied to everyone, it's ones actions that determine ones status, rather than ones party....Are they voting for unconstitutional policies, like those being inserted in Covid-19 recovery bills? Did he vote for money of illegals, yes or no? Did he vote to federalize elections, yes or no? Did he just break his oath by voting for this stuff? Is that what Marines do? You should know, tell me.
Whoa! Doesn't take much to set you off, does it.
Yeah. The point remains, there's always an insincere excuse to keep people quiet.
This has been one of them.
And Joe Biden's mental problems don't make him beyond criticism.
