It is a known fact that a false accusation against someone with lots of money will often settle instead of taking it to trial. The more money an individual has, the more likely a false allegation is to happen. We will never really know the facts.

Is it not possible Bernie leans too much to the left for some voters? That maybe in the era of Trump, a "revolution" is not what everyone wants?

Also, it was black voters that gave Biden his boost. Like it or not, him being Obama's Vice President benefitted him immensely.

Look at the polling for Medicare-for-all. It has over 50 to 60% support (state-dependent) among the Dem electorate, yet they voted for the candidate (Biden) that vehemently opposes it. Why would they vote against their own beliefs? Because cable news, when they cover Sanders, portray him in the worst possible way.

They are misinformed on election strategy. It's not an insult to say someone took bad advice from bad actors.
